My wife and I have stopped at this location several times because she works at the Springdale hospital and is convenient (we think slims chicken is best for fast food chicken) but on Friday the 14th we stopped in and could be our last time for this store unless some serious changes are made. We wanted to dine in so we could eat together at a table before my wife's shift. Nobody was at the counter to take our order. (Not the first time at this location, it has a reputation of poor service, hence poor training and management) one of the staff walked by the door to the kitchen, looked out at the counter(there were several others waiting) did not acknowledge anyone and continued to drink her soda and move out of sight. Then the manager came out with a large order, offered to help carry it to the customer's car and said nothing to anyone that was waiting. ( i have no problem with him helping carry the order out, but did not acknowledge waiting customers)what he could have and should have done was turn around and tell someone at the back to come to the counter to wait on customers. He could have avoided some walk outs. This happens a lot and to be fair, it's at a lot of fast food establishments. (The staff is young, does not pay attention when you order, and acts as if its an inconvenience to take your order) Everyone says I should order with the kiosk.(kiosks should be removed, if customers come in then they deserve to be greeted by a real person to take their order and be happy to do so)If I take the time to come to your restaurant and whether I dine in or go through the drive thro, I deserve to be waited on with a smile and an attitude that is greatful I chose their restaurant to eat at. After all, my purchase helps pay their wages and helps the establishment make money. What the managers don't understand these days is that it is not the occasional customer who makes a business go, it is the repeat customer who make a business go and grow. I know this is long winded, but I fell it is important to tell the whole story in all fairness. Anyway, on my way out the door the manager on his way in heard my comment that I thought it was bullshit that nobody was at the counter to wait on customers. He offered to buy our meals on him and I refused and told him that a free meal wasn't the point, my wife needed to get to work so she wouldn't be late. This establishment is not the first one to get a complaint from me or my wife. (Won't be the last)We are tired of the poor service we get at any place and we do complain, mostly to corporate headquarters because some needs to take notice of how customers are treat and need to rethink how employees are hired and trained. Read moreI love slims. I worked at the location on sunset for over a year, and have eaten at every location in nwa. This is the worst one. I've visited this location at least 15 times or so since it's opening, may very well be more. I've gotten grilled chicken almost every time and been completely satisfied with it once. The grilled is regularly overcooked, left sitting for too long or improperly seasoned. In addition, at every other slims location if some of the tenders are smaller than usual there will be extras in the box, but i haven't had that once here, and quite often the tenders are closer to nugget sized. I love slims, but this location has been a let down so far. This slims is known by me and everyone i know as the worst slims in town, but i have witnessed no effort to improve. The service is definitely slower at this location as well. I think this location obviously has the potential to thrive and flourish, but it's headed in the opposite direction. Last night around 11:20 i ordered wings, chicken and waffles, I started with one order changed my mind to just wings, chicken and waffles, by this time the lady who was taking my order sounded very rude, got to the window asked her if she was having a bad day, she told me my order was $30 something I told her for just wings. Chicken and waffles, she replied you don't want the first order i Said no I only want those two, she said I don't have to save you get off my drive through now, slammed the window and left, I am in shock at this point she left, she walked back open the window i asked her if I could speak to the manager she replied i am the manager, them left again, the young boy who was working there walked by i called him to give me my food.
