I've played here for almost 5 seasons and this place is nothing short of a joke. I really have never seen anything like it in my life. The refs are absolutely horrible. It seems as if they just hire refs from off the streets with no prier experience what so ever because non of them know what they are doing. They call things that SHOULDN'T be called and ignore the things that SHOULD be called and this is an on-going problem game after game. And its not like its only a few bad refs, its 90% of the refs that are awful at what they do and my team has lost multiple games because of bad calls by these refs. I've been playing hockey my whole life and never seen refs that are this bad.
Aside from the refs, another continuous problem is the stats, standings, the various skill levels that they place teams into. They constantly mess up the stats and standings so you never really know what place your in until the last minute before the playoffs start and a lot of the time the standings aren't even correct, which effects your placement in the standings and leads to bad playoff match ups. From my experience playing here at different levels, I realized how horribly organized these leagues are. You have great teams playing down at the lower level and the leagues are just never fair because non of the teams are evenly ranked. The skill level of teams are scattered around so badly its a disgrace.
Also, keep in mind if a player on the opposing team ever gets in your face and swings at you, be sure to just stand there and let him beat your face in because otherwise if you simply try to defend yourself you will be suspended for as much as 3 games which seem completely ridiculous to me considering the seasons are only 10 games long to begin with. They will also surprise you with the suspension weeks after it happens so you end up playing 2 games after the fight happens, and then they hit you with a surprise suspention right before the playoffs start so you end up missing the whole first round of the playoffs which can really hurt your teams chances at making any run in the playoffs.
This place is just overall ran horribly. I've played at many other local rinks which were ran 10x better then this place. If your looking to join a roller hockey team I suggest going to a place like Marple Sports Area, where things are...

Parking can be a little difficult at times and I think a big frustration is schedules can be very erratic. Even though you get a season schedule, it’s possible that it will change week-to-week, which makes...
