A recent trendy remodel of Arby's has added two televisions. One of them permanently welcomes customers with Fox News. Surprise! We now get to know the politics of the franchise owner and get to be indoctrinated by somewhat less than family friendly images as we chew our roast beef. If this is where your viewing habits align, you will feel right at home and likely feel everyone else should be watching Fox News all day with you to stoke a community-wide hatred of those dreaded liberals. The other half of the sandwich buying public may feel as though they are dining in a somewhat less than professional situation. Like going to a Chinese restaurant and seeing a girly calendar. Something is amiss. But, hey, Trump fans, this could be your new hangout. They also sell sandwiches I've heard.
The (unoriginal) Long John Silver's bell to trigger the Pavlov Dog response of your employees I find particularly demeaning to employees and choose never to ring. They are not animals. If I choose to thank them for good service, I will do so with normal verbal human interaction. Maybe even a handshake. I do not wish for a shouted response as though I am in the mess hall of some weird ad hoc summer camp. Minimum wage isn't enough to justify this...
Read moreWhen I went I had ordered, the wings box, and a chicken wrap for myself and a beef and cheddar, shake and some mozzarella sticks for my girlfriend. The worst part is that even to get my food they had me pull up to another door to receive my food, where I had waited ten minutes for my food, and after all of that when I arrived home my wings had barely any sauce on them, almost like a dry rub (which the wings aren't) along with the big glaring issue with the order as a whole, they failed to put the mozzarella sticks in the bag and by the time I had noticed I was already 10 miles away at home. I called the store back to see if they could manage to give me a refund online but I had to come back use all of that gas just to get the 4 mozzarella sticks they were supposed to give me in the first place. I was put in a horrible situation of get no compensation if I don't return to the store, or use gas and return to the store and get the item they failed to provide. I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else, I can't afford the gas for the extra trip nor can I afford to order food that I don't get. I above all else hope that this doesn't happen to someone less fortunate than me. All it took was this experience to...
Read moreI went to Arby's on bechtle Ave in Springfield Ohio I got there at 9:15 there were six cars at the drive thru so I went inside to place an order to go. When I went inside I was the only customer in the store. The employees were talking and laughing between themselves after standing at the counter for about five minutes the manager came out and said we will be with you in a few minutes our computer keeps rebooting itself so as soon it's resets itself well help you then I was asked if I was paying with cash or card. Manager said if you are paying cash I'll take your order, you can just pay me cash. I said no I'm paying with a card she said I have to wait until computer resets. Manager started telling the employees that is she had money she would call in more people to help clean and pay them with cash. I stood at the counter while the employees was cleaning the restaurant emptying trash etc. for about twenty minutes waiting to place order employees went to back of restaurant cleaning and never came back to talk or explain about the computer. I Will Never go back to Arby's again. And I will tell as many people that I can not to...
