Subway — Restaurant in Springville

I walked in when it was close to 11 am but they were still at the back busy prepping the ingredients when they were supposed to be open by 8 am? The lady told me “just a minute” which was fine and I appreciate being acknowledged. I waited around for several minutes before she was ready to take my order, cool. I told her that I wanted the “sub of the day meal deal” but she told me they didn’t have tuna (the Friday choice) available right now because she “didn’t have enough time to make it”. Okay that’s fine, so I asked if I could substitute it with another sub for the meal deal, but she said no. It’s not my problem that they didn’t have the variety that’s offered for that day, and I was willing to compromise… Again, by 11 am, why were they still prepping the ingredients when they should be open and ready to serve by 8 am and there was hardly anyone around? Employees also come off kinda snappy when it’s still early and not even busy.

What happened to Subway just making the sandwich I want? The employee (I think her names Katie but she wears a blue shirt and bandana) was extremely rude and confusing. She started out polite asking what I wanted and I told her. She then had to keep asking over and over cause she was writing it down. After we finally got past me ordering she told me to go sit down. I politely said “no thanks, I’d prefer to stand and wait”. She got all frustrated with me and was telling me to go sit. I asked why and she gave some lame excuse saying that the “company” doesn’t want costumers by the glass…? There were two people in front of me chilling at the glass!!! So why was she trying to force me to sit down? The guy behind me in line was allowed to stand at the glass too. What the heck is that?? I got my sandwich and asked for napkins and she said they are only for online orders. She literally wouldn’t give me a napkin! When I got home my sandwich wasn’t even made right either. Worst experience. This girl needs to be replaced...

Would not recommend visiting this location when TINA is working. She has tomorrow off 4/23/18, so it might be a better time to visit. How do I know this information? It was just a portion of information, from what seemed like a 20 minute conversation, she conveyed to the gentleman in front of me. I also know Tina has a jerk for a landlord and lives in the neighboring town. Many more tidbits about her personal life were spewed during the eternity I had to wait while she wrapped up her conversation.

At this point, the only thing I DON'T know is who trained her. If any training happened, it was deficient at best. I ordered a 6" instead of a 12" (to limit the amount of time it would take Tina to assemble my order) AND used the other half of the bread from the guy in front of me so I could hasten my exit from this awful experience.

I like Subway, but prefer my sandwich assembly to be quick and efficient. Two gualities lacking by the current...
