I second the other Labor Day 2020 review. Possibly some of the worst service I have ever received at any restaurant. First, no one to greet us at entry, so we had to guess whether to seat ourselves and where. Bartender leaned over the bar to sort of yell at us to take our order. The QR code on the table wasn’t working which he acknowledged and brought us paper menus that looked like they were printed from Microsoft Word. I ordered chicken tenders and fries. What came out was undoubtedly Buffalo chicken wings with celery and carrots on the side. The celery and carrots alone should be an indication that it’s wings. When I noted that I ordered chicken strips the bartender ran to the back, then came back out and said “Yeah that’s what they come out as.” ....huh? I said ok, I thought it came with fries, so can I get a side of fries? After taking more than a few minutes and finishing my meal, we had to catch our flight. I went to the bar to pay and he said “well you just ordered your fries but ok.” As if my time and schedule were irrelevant. Somehow for southwestern egg rolls and “chicken tenders,” my total came to over $40. I said, I hate to be a problem but can you help me understand how I got to $40 for two meals? The best part of the whole interaction: his response, “Well you’re in the airport.” Excuse me? So I pointed to the menu where the meals were $12 and $13. He checked the ticket, said “oh yeah I made a mistake” and ended up fixing them. He mentioned it was his first day there, but it must have been his first day interacting with customers ever. His responses were outrageous and not at all close to customer service. I understand it’s an airport, but Chili’s, come on. Servers at airports should understand the fact that customers have places to be and not make them feel like idiots when they did not in fact order Buffalo wings. I would rather sit on a plane hungry than deal with this horrible excuse for a customer oriented environment. Good luck to any who unknowingly choose to eat here on their way...

Read moreWe stopped here 2 hours before our flight to watch college football while we waited. We asked to have the Iowa Hawkeye game on and were told by the person who appeared to be in charge that she would put it on, but only until the St. Louis baseball game came on. (two screens currently had tennis and two others had different football games). After the baseball game started, she turned ALL of the screens in the restaurant and bar to the St. Louis game. There were 4 screens at the front of the bar, but she would not leave just one of them on the college game we wanted to watch. We left and went to Schlafly. Not only did they put the game on for us, but told us to stay a long as we wanted while they cleaned up after closing. Chili's not only lost the revenue we spent at Schlafly, but we will now continue to patronize Schlafly whenever we are at the St. Louis Airport! It should also be noted that when we mentioned leaving Chili's and why, the employees at Schlafly knew exactly who we were...
