Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in St. Cloud

I thought the flavor of the food here was not only good, but unique. It's exactly the kind of diversity and uniqueness the area is currently lacking. The fry sauce is tasty enough, but I didn't see any available nutritional information on it anywhere. The burger had great flavor but appeared to be pounded out incredibly thin, too thin and large a diameter for the bun. So much so I had to eat several bites of plain hamburger. Then several more where there was no cheese on the burger. That may be deliberate, but seemed sloppy or poorly executed like a novice sub sandwich maker might produce. Also, I ordered a double cheese with bacon and was on the last few bites before I realized there was never any bacon on it. In any event, it was good enough, and was fairly priced for the area, but no bargain. I will consider trying it again and see if the second visit improves.

*My second and third visit were much improved in the culinary department. The food seemed great both times, I highly recommend it. The prices are slightly higher than average, but fair for the food. • Edit 5/31/22. Well, what can I say. I hate to admit but I am the definition of elderly. The music at 2:00 PM was too loud. I honestly think the food was good, but overpriced. I can afford nearly $30 for hamburgers for myself and couple of my grandkids. I'm not sure that most parents could afford to take their kids there very often. But that's just me. My grandsons really like Freddy's. I guess it's an age thing. However, at least half the few guests were elderly. Just saying. Another old person thing... Young people, not everybody has been in your restaurant. So, slow down - for us grey hairs (like your grandparents) and talk clearly because the music is too loud for them to hear! I sort of had the impression that this is a drive-up place, or at least right then, in the middle of the afternoon, they're not expecting many people to eat in. Like most problems in customer service, the staff just doesn't get that they have to treat everybody like a family member, adjust for their age, and actually be helpful and friendly. When we tried this the first time we loved it... .............BUT few visits and they Have a sign up by doors saying "SORRY WERE CLOSED DUE TO SHORT STAFF ETC ETC" like literally I did see pretty good amount of employees in there just talking like they didn't care already bad service oh and Manager being rude stating the app don't work due to "SORRY OUR SYSTEM IS BEING UPDATED" and before that day this young men scanned my app and stated it was working ?! So we went again and ordered some ice cream with m&ms so when I go get my order there were like 10 m&ms in each cup like UHMMMM okay??!!! ⚠️Then other visit we had ordered through drive thru and lady being rude her name on receipt was Elizabeth and when we get home we have several surprises ((1))They forgot NOT TO ADD pickles &that thousand island sauce they put even when I told her when I was ordering NOT TO ADD THAT ((2))They forgot my husbands onion rings ! ((3))HAIR in my burger disgusting 🤢 !!!!!!!!! I did call and let them know and said I'm sorry mam that's it !

Corporate should really do something about this and hire people who really want to work not just work for being rude and lazy !!! BAD BAD BAD
