Hayden's Irish Pub, Downtown STL — Restaurant in St. Louis

Ok, I read reviews that this place was not typical, I can handle that, however patron beware this place is not special. The bartender was very nice and went over and above, beyond that we wouldn’t have stayed. The pizza is not good, and there are only 5 other food items you can order. We wandered in on Karaoke night and unfortunately the place was mostly empty. I have visited a lot of Irish bars around the world and would not put this on my return list. Imagine going to an antique mall. And then one of the assistant managers walks up to you and says, hey, while you are looking at that vintage CorningWare, would you like a BudLight? I love the sign they have on the wall when you first walk in saying “the whole world is short staffed, please be kind to the people that showed up today”. Be warned if you’re looking for a place to eat this is not it. A couple small bar food items that are being cooked in an air fryer in the back is your only option.
