This was a honestly scary experiance. Visting St.Louis, you don’t know the area. We had finished up at Union Station & wanted quick lunch so we went to this Mcdonalds since it was closest. The area didn’t look too awful & the mcdonalds on the outside, was fine. The inside experiance was beyond anything I have experianced. One kiosk worked, so we used it. We asked for 6 chicken nuggets, a small fry, a 10 piece nugget meal with a chocolate shake & a mango smoothie. Our other family members got a quarter cheese meal & a kids meal. While waiting, there were zero clean tables. A homeless (seemed to be) woman was sitting at a booth shoving multiple burgers into her mouth & speaking to the bag on the table. A homeless man came up to ONLY our family asking for change. It was probably because we were women with michael kores bags in mcdonalds on apparently a rough side of town. Then, the entire kitchen staff is no exaggeration SCREAMING at each other the ENTIRE time. Our meal took a very long time. We had to ask for drinks, straws, & napkins. Once our meal was brought we had go to ask for the shake & smoothie. I stood there for 10 minutes being ignored while people stared at me. Others were also ignored. Many needed missing items. I was told simply that they don’t have shakes… we asked for a refund or another drink. My smoothie was basically melted & disgusting. The kitchen staff got into a screaming fight with each other over a cell phone & got into an arguement with the homeless woman about throwing away food. The homeless woman stared at us our entire meal & asked us to give her our food. There is a sign on the wall saying to only dine for 30 minutes. We got uncomfortable once the staff fought & immediately left. We finished the meal in the car. Very rough town...
Read moreI visited on 03/02/2021 and would have had a better experience never going Terrible place, terrible manager (s). Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Worst experience I've ever had. And completely disgusting finding a pepper pack in my sandwhich wrapper under sandwich. I will never be back there or to a mcdonald's again they kept food I took back up there & refused a refund. I've left messages and emails the number that was on bottom of receipt with no response. Tried calling store but good luck it they answer. That place gives mcdonald's and st. Louis a bad image. Stall clear because if you eat there your likely hate your experience and live to regret it. So as of 04/03/2021 I never received a call or email from anyone at this horrible location although I did email cooperate amd got a return email saying well they are franchised and that they would teach out to them to contact me which shocker never happened, but I did receive a very cheaply printed post card to for 1 free meal at you guessed it the same locstion. I was screwed out of the almost $50 I paid never got any food that day or money back and now I have this pathic free meal at a place that gave me the rotten service uhm I don't think so. I have disputed the charge with my bank am emailing cooperate again. I intend to do everything possible to make sure this location is shut down regardless if I live in Indiana or not. I will continue to update this as well. I'm far from letting the treatment I received...
Read moreI came back today to get a refund on my drive-up order, for the third straight time this restaurant put cheese on an order which was made with the specific request (and acknowledged several times) to be a "no cheese" order. Today was the first time I could be able to come back to the store to address their error, 36 hours afterwards, I bought the double quarter pounder at a time when only the drive-up is available, and it was not logistically possible for me to get back to this McDonald's and go through the drive-up line again. This time (today at 12:30 pm) I was going back to get a refund. Staff was courtious, as always, but their kitchen cooks don't pay attention, and even though their original cheerful end-stage counter person rattled off the "no cheese" order when he handed me the food, obviously he didn't check the order for accuracy either. This afternoon, the manager told me I had to return the food to get a refund, otherwise they would give me a gift card. I couldn't keep the bad food from Saturday night through Monday afternoon, because at the time of my order I was on my way to working an overnight shift, and because I would not be able to address this problem until Monday, I could not leave food around to rot at my office. It's unfortunate that this restaurant doesn't pay close attention to accuracy on their food orders, because the staff is always polite and cheerful and that gives the illusion that they are paying attention to...
