Eat Sprout - Saint Michaels — Restaurant in St. Michaels

Eat Sprout is a cute little coffee shop in St. Michael’s that I will 100% go back to. I didn’t try any of their pastries or to go platters but their drinks are delicious.

The matcha latte could have more matcha in it for my preference but it was very smooth and not grainy. I asked for oat milk instead of dairy milk and there was no up charge.

I also got a hot cappuccino which isn’t pictured but it was very delicious as well.

The person I was with was very intrigued by the decaf cold brew so she “had to try it.” They don’t have it on tap so the barista gave us a cup with ice and almond milk so we could mix it ourselves. It was SO good. The flavor is strong but not overly bitter and very smooth. The next day we asked for a cup with ice and almond milk to finish the rest of the bottle and they only charged us $1.

My only regret is not buying more of the bottled cold brew coffees (both regular and decaf) because when I ran out at home I was sad 😂.

Gorgeous cute little shop. Aesthetically pleasing. However, the customer service is absolutely dreadful. With the two young ladies in the front, barely wanting to engage in conversation, but had a full on conversation about the things that were going on in their life as well as “work drama” amongst each other. I was inquiring about certain items on the menu, but got push back before I was even able to finish my sentence. Wanted to try the vitality drink but omit the honey because I’m allergic. She said it was no way possible to create that. Also didn’t offer any type of alternative. I inquired about the açai bowl and she said it is how it comes. Can’t change it. I ended up, just leaving with a double espresso and even that, I felt uncomfortable getting. While, it being a beautiful place I will never step foot into this establishment again with the way that the customer...

Extremely rude barista. Went in three times over the past couple of days. Seemed like an inconvenience to be waited on, was snippy when I asked for a drink recommendation…I asked for a splash of milk in my coffee. She filled the cup halfway with milk and so when she added coffee it was super light tan. I politely asked if I could have it with a small amount of the milk after she gave it to us since I can’t have too much milk in the morning. She filled up my coffee cup, puts it on the counter and puts the milk next to it. I was waiting because she didn’t say anything, she just walked away. I asked if I could help myself when she came back and she goes “yes” in an overly annoyed and horrendous attitude. She shouldn’t work a customer service role, she clearly is miserable. I’m in no way a Karen and I wanted to love this place but that girl made me never want...
