As a couple who loves exploring breweries and wineries, this venue felt like the perfect blend of everything we enjoy with the added charm of a small-town business feel. It's warm, welcoming, and it's laid-back atmosphere makes everyone feel at ease. The food is amazing with a great variety of options and the drink selection is just as impressive (from craft beer to wine or cocktail options). We stumbled upon it by chance but chose to host our reception here because of the listed characteristics. There's something for everyone! For our event, the team was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Michael (owner) made the whole experience feel even more personal by being so helpful in offering recommendations and being flexible with requests. Everything was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Whether you're looking for a unique spot to host an event or just want a great place to hang out and enjoy good food and/or a variety of drinks, this place...
Read moreI was in St Michael's for a long weekend with some friends (in April - I am behind on my reviews)!. It was Friday late morning and we didn't realize that the winery down the street didn't open until noon s owe were looking to kill some time. We had checked out their food menu and it looked good, so we actually came back a second time that day for lunch. We got a few tapas to share and I got the curry chicken salad sandwich.
Overall, everything was really good and the staff was very nice. I hope they are successful in...
Read moreThe Fool's Lantern is a new hidden gem in St Michael's. I loved the experience of pouring my own flights of local beers...a perfect sampler to compliment a truly eclectic menu. The Cajun fondue is AMAZING, with large chunks of crawfish and chorizo in a silky New Orleans cheese. LOVED EVERY BITE. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting with live edge tables and industrial fans above. Sarah, our waitress, was on hand to explain all of the unique offering on the menu....she clearly took pride in her job as she delivered a chilled bowl of fresh water to a pup sitting outside all while working on a chalk happy hour sign. If you haven't been here yet, please make it a "must do" on your next trip to St...
