As a couple who loves exploring breweries and wineries, this venue felt like the perfect blend of everything we enjoy with the added charm of a small-town business feel. It's warm, welcoming, and it's laid-back atmosphere makes everyone feel at ease. The food is amazing with a great variety of options and the drink selection is just as impressive (from craft beer to wine or cocktail options). We stumbled upon it by chance but chose to host our reception here because of the listed characteristics. There's something for everyone! For our event, the team was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Michael (owner) made the whole experience feel even more personal by being so helpful in offering recommendations and being flexible with requests. Everything was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Whether you're looking for a unique spot to host an event or just want a great place to hang out and enjoy good food and/or a variety of drinks, this place...

I was in St Michael's for a long weekend with some friends (in April - I am behind on my reviews)!. It was Friday late morning and we didn't realize that the winery down the street didn't open until noon s owe were looking to kill some time. The Fool's Lantern was newly open (like pretty brand new!) and we saw the self-serve wine machines which are always fun.

The four of us came in and the staff was super welcoming and didn't bat an eye at us just wanting to get some wine and hang out (versus getting food also). Our friends had a couple issues with using their card in the machine so ended up sharing ours. But you can attribute that to opening kinks!

We had checked out their food menu and it looked good, so we actually came back a second time that day for lunch. We got a few tapas to share and I got the curry chicken salad sandwich.

Overall, everything was really good and the staff was very nice. I hope they are successful in...

The Fool's Lantern is a new hidden gem in St Michael's. I loved the experience of pouring my own flights of local beers...a perfect sampler to compliment a truly eclectic menu. The Cajun fondue is AMAZING, with large chunks of crawfish and chorizo in a silky New Orleans cheese. LOVED EVERY BITE. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting with live edge tables and industrial fans above. Sarah, our waitress, was on hand to explain all of the unique offering on the menu....she clearly took pride in her job as she delivered a chilled bowl of fresh water to a pup sitting outside all while working on a chalk happy hour sign. If you haven't been here yet, please make it a "must do" on your next trip to St...

A M A Z I N G !!!!! The setup is that you get a card to use to sample/pour your choice of a variety of beers & wine. The menu is absolutely fabulous & we’ll balanced. There is something for everyone & if there isn’t they will find something. The Chef Shawn was kind enough to come out to me when there was a dietary restriction. He wanted to make something that would work & it did! He is amazing, creative & went the extra mile. The Owners happened to be there & they were the sweetest people you could meet. This is a business that you should support. Not only because it’s superior but the people who make it up are exceptional. Wonderful staff, bravo 👏🏽

Great concept, great staff, amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere! They’re a newer place and I was excited to see the self pour concept in St. Michael’s. Paired with great tapas, food board options, and amazing desserts, the dining experience is a fun one from start to finish! We loved it here so much that we came for dinner and came right back for breakfast! It’s really nice in the Morning right now if you want a nice quiet delicious breakfast with a Bloody Mary/Maria bar and self pour wine and beers. The staff were so friendly and we really enjoyed our conversations with them. I wish this place was near my home so we could come more often!
