We came here for dinner; our 2nd time here. We were extremely pleased! The server was very attentive and she gave awesome suggestions when we had menu questions. I started with the Tiki drink which was phenomenal! Very refreshing. I wasn't extremely hungry so I ordered the BBQ shrimp starter (based on the server recommendation). Oh my goodness!!!! Hands down one of the BEST dishes I have tasted all summer. The BBQ sauce was tangy and buttery. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the crispy, buttery bread for dipping was the Chef's kiss 💋. My husband ordered the Ahi Tuna which he also enjoyed. He did say that the veggies under the tuna were a tad salty but overall a solid dish. We will definitely dine here every time we visit St. Michaels.

Wow. Hands down some of the best steaks I’ve ever had. We came here for a proper steak dinner, and it delivered big time. Kept it simple with mains and a few sides—onion rings, mushrooms, and fries. The onion rings were spot on, but the real star? The meat. I know my steaks, and these were cooked to perfection. We ordered both medium, and as you can see in the photos, they came out exactly right. Went with the ribeye on the bone ($87) and the New York strip ($67). Pro tip: we asked for thick cuts, and the super friendly waitress made sure the kitchen nailed it just how we wanted. Couldn’t have asked for a better steak night. Total cost with one glass of wine 262 including 20% tip

We’ve been to Theo’s in St. Michaels mainly during the pandemic. In this visit in late July, we were very happy to have returned. The service from Chance was outstanding. He checked on us often without being obtrusive, explained the night’s specials and was genuinely friendly. The bread basket which includes garlic knots was heavenly. My wife had the Caprese salad which was made with local heirloom tomatoes and house made mozzarella. She loved it! Chance recommended the hamburger which I thought was excellent. Made medium-rare with a nice char. The fries were perfectly crisp. Can’t wait to return to the St. Michaels and Theo’s.

As a frequent guest of this establishment we have finally had enough. The food is always above average and not fantastic. The other night the floor was woefully understaffed. The waiter would “disappear” for 15 minutes at a time. Drink order, wait 15 minutes. Food order, wait 15 minutes. So sad. Buyer beware though; Theo’s charges $6.00 to change a side from “mashed potatoes” to say “sweet potatoes”. Any deviation from the menu (even if it a cheaper side - they charge). Don’t get us wrong, we fully understand a substitution charge if the overpriced menu was fairly priced. Also, my favorite experience (2nd time they did this) the waiter offered “French fries” but failed to qualify that they cost $11.00. By the way, it’s not worth $11.00.

Hopefully Theo’s gets back on track as a local favorite and for now we will be avoiding the restaurant. We don’t like being nickel and dimed for above average food, terrible staffing, and a menu priced like it is a 4 star...

My boyfriend picked out this place and took us for Valentine’s Day dinner. To start, the ambiance of this place is incredible. The full bar is gorgeous and the dining area is an upscale yet tasteful setting. We ordered the filet mignon and seared ahi tuna with sesame croquettes that were to die for. Everything was perfectly seasoned. We also got a pomegranate lime cheesecake for dessert and it was absolutely delicious. To top it off, the service was top tier. The hostess, waitress, food runner, etc., were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Our waitress, Madeleine, was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient when I just could not figure out what amazing item to order! She even went back and asked the chef a question I had for her about an item on the menu. Overall, a 10/10 experience. So glad we decided to try something new. This is a GREAT place for anniversaries, birthdays, or just any...

Our dining experience was overshadowed by a family with 2 whining and noisy children, we were seated on the porch and all was fine until the family with 2 children showed up. This isn’t how I wanted to spend a romantic dinner with my wife, now don’t get me wrong I’m not a child hater as we had 4 small ones ourselves but there is a time when you need to get your children in check or remove them. We felt rushed by our server probably due to the fact we were told as we were seated that the center table had been reserved although no one was ever seated there. As we drove past 15 min later there were two gentlemen seated there, they probably were smart enough to wait to the children left. Food was so so and the $60 steak I had was probably in tenderizer for an entire day according to my stomach for the...
