I went in for breakfast on a Sunday morning on the way to a Giants game and ordered an egg white sandwich with fried onions, two slices of pork roll, one slice of cheese, salt, pepper, and ketchup. As I explained my order, the blond woman at the counter acted as if my order was a bother, laughed and shook her head at my request. When I asked to have the bagel scooped/gutted I was told, "He (the cook) won't do that," as if it was a huge inconvenience to even consider.
