I got the creme brûlée here for my boyfriends birthday. They have you put down a 10$ deposit for their ceramic dish. I still need to return it. Sorry guys. I’m not back in town until the summer. Looks like I didn’t get a picture of the creme brûlée either :( -2020
I came back in person in 2022 and we ordered more food lol. Creme brûlée was still as good as before hahaah. It had blueberries and the next day had cherries.
We got the charcuterie board and that was massive and way too much food. The duck confit was also good and the quinoa with sauce and leek were such a good combination with it. Had escargot for the first time and it was garlicky and buttery lol.
Had dessert the next day, and really enjoyed the pineapple dessert. I wish there was something to soak up the cream because it was so good. Chocolate mousse was too rich for me but still good.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be in this area anymore 💔, but it was nice to meet the staff here and...
Read moreWhat a treat! Everything was delightful. French bistro food in bountiful servings. Chef Erik takes no short cuts in picking his ingredients and preparing the food. We enjoyed every bite! For appetizers we had their French onion soup, mussels and shrimp bisque. They ran out of the bone marrow appetizer so we’ll be coming back for that. For main course we had their steak, their bistro burger, osso buco like dish and shepherd’s pie. For dessert we had the blueberry pie, crepes and all time favorite crème brûlée that is made to perfection. Wine selection is great and they are good in recommending what’s the best wine to pair with your dish. Want a coffee just like they have it in Europe? This is the place. Chef Erik takes the time to talk to his patrons, can explain how he picked his coffee beans and the story behind every dish. The pride in his work and perfecting his cuisine is evident. Can’t...
Read moreIt's been about a year since I visited this place, but wanted to say it's amazing - it very perfectly hits that distinctly-French sense of every course in the meal building upon itself. When I was there the waiter asked how it was or if I wanted it taken away (mostly because I had ordered so many dishes I couldn't eat them all) and said something to the effect of "this is all trash" - as in "compost" or "I can't eat more," this was potentially misinterpreted as not enjoying the meal, and he asked me to speak to the chef or owner of the restaurant - who offered a dessert wine (which was also amazing) and a raspberry bavarian - which perfectly capped off the meal - it was an amazing meal, each course giving the feeling of "it's ok" - but all-combined, one of the best meals of my life and constructed with an adept artistic culinary talent like a...
