I'm sure everyone knows to come here for burgers, fries, ice cream sodas, malts, steaks, and shakes. But there's so much more to this place. Friendly attentive staff, affordable pricing, and very clean. Outdoor tables with portable heaters for fresh air lovers. Inside is a fully stocked bar, tastefully tucked behind the eating counter service area. Not to worry, parents... This is a very kid friendly environment. Bring the strollers. Bring the little league teams. The bar makes more milkshakes than margaritas. As for the food... Salads are amazing, and man size meals. Customize with your favorite meat or fish. Or go all veggie. Appetizers to share? Yes, please! The Rhode Island Calamari is amazing! They also have a full gamet of other favorites like onion rings, nachos, mac and cheese bites, fried pickles, bang bang shrimp, spring rolls, ribs, wings, artichoke dip, and more. Save room for the entrees. Blts, burgers, chicken, chili dogs, club sandwiches, fish and chips, mac-n-cheese (5 ways), meatballs, meatloaf, pastas, pesto, quasadillas, ruebens, ribs, salads, salmon, sandwiches, steaks, and tacos. The Brunch Menu takes over on weekends until 2 pm. Eggs, french toast, waffles, bacon, turkey bacon, hash, omelets, and benedicts are added to the main menu options. The desserts include banana splits, brownies, creme brulee cheesecake, lava cakes, pies, and sundaes. The drink options include beer, bellinis, coffee, egg creams, espresso, ice cream sodas, juices, lattes, mimosas, sangrias, sodas, ice tea, prosecco, tea, and wine. Come here on a diet or come here to feast. There are plenty of options. Eat in, eat outside, or take out. They can also provide catering for your event or party. Even the picky kids (or inlaws) will like this place. You'll all leave happy, full, and coming up with plenty of excuses to come...
Read moreFirst of all coming first impression the smell. I'm not sure if it was the smell of the sanitization they use but it's overwhelming even with a mask on. It was too late and I felt bad to ask to be seated outside after opting to sit inside. Another observation both supervisors/management who had masks on but neither covering their nose or mouth, just sitting on their chin. The food was okay, pictures make it look better. Worthy for 3.5 star average. Once we finished our meal our waitress never checked on us to see how we were doing, or if we needed more water. It was clear she was struggling with her workload due to the sass she was giving to her supervisors and clear frustration they were expressing towards her in return as they offered her to make her workload smaller. We waited an additional 20 minutes for us to pay the check. After making eye contact with two supervisors, 3 waitresses, and two busboys. Enough was enough. I went up with my husband to the supervisor (Whom by the way still has his mask not covering his nose) to pay our check and told him how long I waited. He asked if I asked for anyone, or if they ignored me. I said no but I make clear eye contact with multiple employees and not one person cared to check on us. He apologize yes, but blankly, because he said I had no reason to talk to him" that way". I informed I wasn't speaking in any way only providing feedback. He then speaks back again to tell me it is not feedback. He clearly has no training on how to de escalate a situation and the saddest part is, he escalated it himself. I have worked in food service for multiple years and management for five years. I shouldn't have to seek service I should be attended to like any customer. The service that was received today and the response was unacceptable and highly...
Read moreI visited Lucky’s today and was shocked by the owner's behavior. He, as a Greek man, was openly discussing political favoritism and made divisive statements like "America has to be great again." As a proud Hispanic American, it was hurtful to hear such rhetoric, especially when many of the staff are Latino immigrants.
When I asked him if he was planning to retire in Greece, he arrogantly responded, "NO, I’m staying in MY COUNTRY." when I was about to leave, he said, "What are you still doing here? took you two hours to finish." I'm sorry. Am I not a paying customer? I replied that I was a slow eater, and out of respect, I just left. However, It’s uncomfortable to hear such disrespectful comments from a business owner, particularly in a restaurant that should be a welcoming space for all. unfortunately, this event occurs on a special day like today, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a day to remember the Civil Rights Movement and his fight for racial equality, justice, and peace.
I absolutely can’t recommend this place to anyone who values respect and...
