Basically, this place is pretty unorganized, unreliable, inconsistent, needs to expand to a bigger space and overall really needs to improve with providing a more sufficient schedule with customers painting and their bathroom was disgusting, VERY dirty. Glad we tried it once, never going back there. Would rather go to a local painting shop.
Drove an hour to check this place out, wanted to do something fun for my sister’s bday, she loves boba and arts & crafts. I booked an appointment on their website, there’s a prompt saying to message them which items you want to paint and they’ll set it aside for you (picture included in my review). After 3-4 days of messaging back and forth (they weren’t very good with communicating which was already a bad sign) they checked the stock and claimed that the 3 items I asked for were in stock. The day of our appointment, I called ahead letting them know I would be 10 min late to ask if it would cause any issues, the guy on the phone sounded whatever about it and said “you should be fine”. We get there, waited in line to order our stuff, let the guy know that I messaged them on insta about which items I asked for, he asked for the pictures I sent and just walked over to the items and grabbed 2 out of the 3 items we wanted to paint and said that they were out of stock with the Labubu item. Sooo what was the point of messaging on insta if they weren’t actually gonna set stuff aside for us? So we had to pick a different item to paint. He also informed us that because we showed up a little later than our appointment time, our table was given away but luckily other people were leaving so we were able to take theirs without having to wait (again, what’s the point of communicating with them if they don’t follow through with anything they tell you). They also said they were ALL OUT of the only food they have (taiyaki) which was super disappointing. They need to keep up with the amount of customers they attract, stock up on food and the items they claim to...
Read moreA neat concept, not new to places offering clay colorings but this one was affordable, not to mention treats and boba. A good place to spend mother's day at however the location is questionable as it's next to a showgirls, there is definitely limited seating and it's best to reserve a spot. We had to wait for someone to leave outside before we could sit and paint and drink our tea. The outside had a nice breeze going however every so often we had a terrible sewage smell come at us. Between that and the staff worker adding some spray color coating on the art pieces it was difficult to be outside and enjoy our drink and painting. The spray got into our eyes and the smell filled our noses. Others complained as well one or two even asking her to stop so they could walk in with their children.(She did this by the entrance and the breeze carried it all over to everyone) Other than that it was still a fun experience and would definitely come back to do more.
Forgot to mention when I went they said they had no restrooms and I had to use the taco place next door I read other comments stating they have a restroom so unsure why they said no
Also I recommend the...
Read moreSkipped out on the boba because I really wanted to try something new and unique to me - a mochi drink! I might be late to the game, but the Roseberry Matcha Mochi drink was delicious! We asked for 50% sweet but it still pretty sweet because of the roseberry so i think I can even go 0% sweet next time and it’ll still taste good.
When I say Mochi drink, I don’t mean mochi balls as toppings - it’s like mochi paste as a small base layer topped with the rest of the drink - matcha and roseberry. I LOVED the texture of the drink. Because it was new to me, I think it’s a genius idea for a new type of beverage. Would love to see if there any more places that has these mochi drinks so please let me know of the others!
We also ordered the milk tea boba croissant taiyaki. We had an extra order with the red bean because our order messed up first. They were nice to remake our order to the correct one.
The service was slow on a Sunday afternoon. I thought someone had grabbed my drink but it turns out they’ve been waiting for a while too. Very nice people doing their best to get this fairly new establishment running. Be patient and enjoy...
