Sauly Boy's — Restaurant in State College

The food is alright…moderate for what you can get when going for grease-infused food. Everything is frozen, not freshly made. Little spices or options. Kinda expensive for what they have. The worst is the service…college students who are mostly slow and don’t know what they’re doing. There’s also a guy who’s always in there, I think it might be Saul. But he gives me bad vibes…he isn’t hygienic, talks loudly about things like politics and his relationships, and is overall very “sassy.” He rolls his eyes, says mean things to his employees, and looks like he’d rather a customer walk out than pay. I also think he plays video games?

Look, it’s alright food. Don’t go during football season, the waits are atrocious and you’ll probably still get the wrong order. Don’t go during the summer, you’ll be treated like an inconvenience. I much prefer Irving’s, or Allen Street Pizza, or the Corner Room…all on the same street for much...

I ordered online via their website for a pickup order, which it accepted and withdrew the money from my account. But when I went there they were closed, even though their opening hours everywhere said they were open. Except a paper they put on the front door. Which I understood and said no problem. But when I tried calling them during their opening hours they never picked up. And when I emailed them and expressed my concerns they completely ignored me. And when I went in person and confronted them they didn’t even apologize or try to explain their actions. They just gave me the money. Simply one of the worst experiences with a business in my entire life, if u would even call them a business with this customer service. Came on busy graduation weekend with my family and puppy. Rude male sitting in the front greeted us with “take your animal outside.” Extremely rude, unprofessional and uncalled for, many times when a restaurant doesn’t allow dogs, they will respectfully and professionally ask customers to please have their DOG, not “animal” wait outside. We proceeded to go outside to the dirty table where we had to wipe it down ourselves. HR team needs to know what kind of personality they are hiring to represent the restaurant.
