Growing too fast!! Went there for the 1st time a few years back (when I think they only had 1 location) and was very impressed with the taste of the food and the value of the pricing. Been there 3 times the past couple months (now 3 locations), and was disappointed more and more each time. 1) For a sports bar atmosphere...I would think if a local team is playing (Spartans, Wolverines, all Detroit teams, etc.)...they would have the game on one of their many TVs. This wasn't the first time that a seemingly obvious game to have on wasn't...I felt like I was watching obscure sports on ESPN The Ocho. Only took asking about 5 times to have a local game put on for it to happen. Only the manager had "authority" to make that happen (power trip much?) 2) lack of training of support staff. main waitress was great. girl that brought out food (although very nice and pleasant) had no idea what each plate was. even said, "I haven't seen this before...I think it's chicken"...again, goes back to management. 3) Had a party of 10...8 of us got served at the same time...the last 2 did not get their plates for another approximately 15 minutes. Waitress was very apologetic that the kitchen couldn't keep up. So, obviously everybody else's food was cold by the time we all ate together. I understand things happen, but it was again the manager's attitude about the situation that was most upsetting. The bill was split into 2...they comp'ed the 2 late dishes that were on one of the bills. When the bills came, I mentioned to the waitress that while it's great you removed the 2 plates from our bill...the other bill at the table should be discounted as well, since they all ate cold food. She said, "I didn't think about it that way...let me go see what I can do." Now the manager comes over with the attitude of "What else do you want me to do?"...now giving me an attitude as if if was us giving them bad service. 4) ordered fajita...the piece of chicken was flavorless and dry as a bone. We definitely will not be back at this point. This company might want to think about slowing down on the growth...they obviously cannot keep up with getting the right people in all their locations. Was not impressed with the women’s bathroom cleanliness. It was DEFINITELY lacking visible grime everywhere the walls the sink the floor toilets on the air dryer for hands it was gross. This was the first stop for my daughter and I because we drove over an hour. So besides that we found out the menu had changed which I was shocked. They did not have the burger I wanted because I guess it was off the menu now I ordered a mudslide and it was made with ice not ice cream and I guess some places do this and some don’t I rather have had it with ice cream But it’s cool. I got my burger. It was very juicy but it lacked flavor I ate about half of it it was the mushroom burger. I had also ordered an appetizer that came out at the same time as my food, which was weird cause I thought it was supposed to come out before my food. My waitress was very kind. She was talking to my daughter. My daughter had brought in a mini stuffed animal, and she said she wanted something to drink for her and that she wanted to sit in her own booster seat. She went and got that for her I thought that was pretty cute. The service was excellent and even the person that delivered my food was very kind. I really wish they had the burger I had last time but what can you do. I ended up having to rush out because I had to go to a closing that the gps said was 20 mins away but turned into an hour out of nowhere. I have been here several times now. The level of service and how the food tastes depends on if it's a weekend or not. During the week, everything is great, both the food and service. Weekends are the opposite. We called four days ahead to make reservations since their website wasnt working correctly. Our reservation was for 6pm. Part of our group got there 10 minutes early and was told that the wait would be about 15 minutes. After 30 minutes, we went inside and asked how much longer. The hostess didn't confirm the phone number and had it down wrong from the reservation. After another 15 minutes, my wife inquired again and mentioned that we had 6pm reservations. She was told they do not accept reservations when it clearly states that they do on their website. After 50 minutes of waiting, we were finally seated. The guy who sat us who was supposedly a manager made excuse after excuse about how they were busy and they take "Call ahead" and not reservations. Fix it on your website then. I ordered the surf and turf with the filet medium. The filet came out charred and very well done. It was so bad, I couldnt finish it. The mashed potatoes had too much garlic. The only thing that was good was the lobster. Another member of our group ordered the 16 oz. Porterhouse. There was no way that was 16 oz either before or after cooking it. It also was overcooked. The managers steered clear of our table. If you dont know how to make it right for your customers, find a job somewhere else. My recommendation is to stay away from this place on the weekends.
