First off, the food was delicious. If it wasn't for the food (and the server we finally got) I would have given this place no more than 2 stars. We were sat pretty quickly, for lunch time on Hall Road sometimes that can be tricky. However, it took us waiting 10 minutes, and bothering a bartender, to get someone to come at least take our drink order. The bartender notified a manager so she came to help us initially and then she brought over an actual server (Tyler). He finished taking our drink order and because we had now been waiting for almost 15 minutes we ordered our food as well. He was very nice and even helped my mother-in-law choose the perfect drink to go with her meal. About 5 minutes later a new waitress came to our table and began to try to take our drink order. When we told her we had already been helped, she huffed, stormed off, and muttered "Of course you have." Okay then! As we were waiting for our food, my mother-in-law asked a server passing by if she could take our picture. The girl shoved the phone back toward her and said "I really don't have time for this" and sped off. Thankfully the hostess passed us by shortly after and very nicely agreed to take our picture. When the food arrived we were excited. It all looked, and tasted, delicious. The kitchen did forget a salad we ordered but when Tyler came back to ask us how everything was we just asked him to cancel it because we really didn't need/want it at that point. Overall, our experience was not that great. Good food can only take a restaurant so far. The service a customer receives is ultimately what makes them return to an establishment. This place has been open for a couple weeks now, so there really shouldn't be this many kinks still. Also, I love using technology to expedite the ordering process as much as the next person, but even our experienced server was struggling to put in our order as we were giving it to him, and I heard another server complaining about that process to the table behind me. Honestly, I probably won't return unless I was really desperate to find something to eat which there are far too many restaurants on Hall Road for that to be a possibility. Too bad, I was excited to try something new.

This is the second time I've given this place a try. I do love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The dessert is delicious. The food, I haven't had any luck with. First time I came here, I was very underwhelmed. It took awhile to get my food and when it came, I was quite disappointed. I ordered the Parmesan encrusted chicken. Now I know, not everything looks like the pictures. The chicken was pretty salty. Also when I flipped the chicken over, it was burnt, both pieces. Because you burn one side, that means you just flip it and hide it? Also, my side of broccoli, you couldn't even call that a side. The florets were very small. I thought, maybe because they were still new, they were giving things out in the kitchen. Okay, I'll give you a pass. Tonight, my 2 friends and I, we all ordered ribeyes. Those were NOT ribeye steaks. I've had plenty of ribeyes to know that this was not. These steaks were so lean and tough, I could barely eat it. It was HEAVILY seasoned with salt and pepper. So much that I scraped a ton off of it and it was still too salty and too much pepper to eat. Again, my broccoli was just about 5 small pieces and some crumbs. This restaurant had been here for a while now and things still haven't gotten better. I really want to like this place but if the food continues to be this bad, I will not be recommending this place, not will I be back. My servers were great, no complaints there. They were very attentive so I can't blame then for the food. The only reason why I didn't send my file back was because they were busy and I didn't have time to wait for them to remake it. Who knows, maybe 3rd times a charm, or, the 3rd strike.

Upon entering BJ's today, i realized i had been in there within the last year, but could not recall the experience. We were third party in line, yet the only wait was the host taking banned, then seating fourthwith. Upon seating, he introduced the lunch specials and the bar menu, including highlighting the pumpkin ale, and loaded burgers. Bill, our server, was at our table within minutes, and quicky took our drink order. He was absent just long enough for us to peruse our menu options. Upon Bill's return with our drinks, we placed our food order. While awaiting our order, and chatting, I surveyed the interior. The place had plenty of televisions to appeal to the sports bar crowd, yet enough distance to allow for pleasant conversation, and not to be pigeon holed into such a category. The atmosphere seemed open, but warm... Except when new customers were swept in with the cool wind of the day. Or food soon arrived, and it was to our delight. My friend were crispy, tasty, and hot. My burger was cooked medium, as per my request. Condiments accompanied my fries as quickly as lemon accompanied my tea. Everyone has different tastes. Got me, the jalapeno burger could have been s but more spicier. I don't think there was enough cheese and jalapenos to counteract the large burger itself. However, tasty in any event. A very delicious meal. Great service, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend giving it a try!

*this restaurant was picked by my uncle who just drove all the way from Tennessee. * Came to this restaurant Sunday evening and had a reservation for 6 at 5pm. 4 of us were seated while we waited for the other 2 to arrive. During this time, we found out an additional 10 people were coming. The 4 of us at the table received our drinks, menu and silverware. We informed the waitress of the additional people and myself, my husband, our 2 kids (ages 8 and 1) and 2 other family members were seated at a booth next to the reserved table. Great! The waitress told us that they didn't have another table next to where we were, but that was fine with us! We received menus and all was well! Until the floor manager, whose name I couldn't catch but I think started with a Z, came up and told us at the booth we had to go wait outside or at the bar, there was a misunderstanding. Okay, irritating, but fine. We started to gather our kids things when he became rude and also told the table of 6 WHICH WAS RESERVED, that they also had to wait outside. So they paid for their drinks, tipped the waitress, who couldn't not even begin to express how sorry she was and we went outside. We were told there was an hour late but they would take our name and get us a table as soon as possible and that we were welcome to sit at the bar while we wait. I was hesitant, seeing as I had my 8 year old and 1 year old with me. The male bartender was fabulous and let us sit at a small table near where the bar was. Granted the table was too tall for a high chair, so we figured we would just take turns holding the baby until we got our table. We all ordered drinks, got some appetizers and waited an hour. During which time the floor manager was talking poorly about our group and giving dirty looks. The restaurant was crazy busy and not once did he step up to help, he just stood near the bathrooms gossiping the entire THREE hours we were there. After an hour of waiting at the bar, we went to the hostess to see when our table would be ready. She told us the floor manager told her to skip us because we are sitting at the bar. BUT they could restart our wait and get us a table if we wanted to wait AGAIN. (we were told to wait there by staff, family had just driven from another state, and 2 children in tow) so we decided to make the best of it. We ordered our food, we have now been at the restaurant for 2 hours holding my baby because he had nowhere to sit. When our food finally arrived it was subpar at best. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes for just silverware while our food got cold. Our side salad and appetizers were comped because they didn't come out until AFTER we were boxing up our food. Our table alone spent $150 to have to hold my infant, eat cold food and not even be able to spend time with the family from out of state, because children can't sit at the bar. Absolutely horrible experience from the second we walked in the door. Bartender and wait staff were fabulous but the floor manager was hands down the most unprofessional person i have encountered in...

This was our third time coming here and it has gotten worse every time we come back. This last time will probably be the last time. The first time was great, the second time they screwed up our pizza and we had to wait another half an hour for the correct one and they did nothing to compensate us. This last time started out totally on the wrong foot. We joined the waitlist and when we got there, I gave the girl my name. She proceeded to ask me twice for my name and then she found me on the list and told me it would be 15 minutes. It was just kind of strange because they were a large amount of open tables so I didn’t understand why people had to wait for tables. Here’s the main issue. We went and sat at the bar and informed the girl at the hostess stand that we would be over there when our table was ready. After waiting 15 to 20 minutes and not getting any type of notification that there was a table ready, I went and asked one of the girls at the hostess stand if they knew how much longer it would be and how they would notify us and she said we would get a text. After waiting 10 more minutes and noticing that everybody that came in after us was already seated, which was about 15 to 20 people, I said why haven’t we been called yet, everyone that came in after us was already seated and she looked at me with a blank stare and then turned to the other girl, and they whispered something to each other, and then we were seated at a table that had been open the whole time right next to the bar where we were sitting! I was absolutely livid! The lack of communication and the lack of the ability to carry out a very simple thing is unacceptable. They did not say they were sorry and showed no sign of empathy or any type of apology whatsoever. Now Chandra, our server was the one bright spot in this whole experience. She was very upbeat, funny and provided excellent service! As far as the food is concerned, my wife and I each had a burger and they were both mediocre. The bacon jam wings were good, however they were not on the menu in the restaurant, but they were on the online menu. Weird. The calamari was ok, but was quite salty. We did have to wait for our bacon jam wings because when she brought the calamari out, she informed us that someone else had taken our order of wings. Just kind of par for the course as far as how this place has been going downhill even more every time we visit. The two girls at the hostess stand ruined what could’ve been a very decent experience. They definitely need some training in their customer service skills! You need to find someone who can smile and greet customers in a warm and welcoming way, not someone who acts like it’s a chore to be there and do their job. We spent over $100 here on dinner and drinks for the two of us and that was an entire waste of money...

My fiance an I went last night with another couple we called ahead for seating was told ten minutes we got there well within the ten mins then was told another 20 mins which was annoying the hostess was extremely short and rude with us but I'm thinking it's because she was constantly being asked how much longer the wait was but thats her job. we got our table which was a nice large booth. Took more than 7 mins for server to come over to get drink orders our server was Duncan. Took another 7 mins to get the drinks but they were delish. My black berry margarita was awesome!! We waited 10 more mins with our menus closed. We watched Duncan bring out 9 separate checks to a table of 9 then stand there and wait for them to get their cards out then cashed all 9 out before coming to our table. I'm a server and this irritated me. He could've had our order taken while they were getting their cards ready. Instead we waited another 7 mins. Then it took 25 mins to get the food. They were busy but not ridiculously so but.....the food was so worth the wait!! Absolutely awesome!! We got the cheese balls for app and It was mouth watering. My fiance got the combo with steak and ribs. He's a chef and very picky and said it was perfect and delicious. I had the crispy chicken sandwich which was the best I've ever had. It even heated up in the microwave still crispy!! The other couple got jambalaya and fish and chips and all was amazing!! We asked for boxes. Took another 5 mins for that. Our bill was placed on the table without ever asking if we wanted any more drinks or dessert etc. I don't know if Duncan is new or just having a bad day I'm a server and notice everything so I'm probably more picky than most but the service was really terrible. Maybe a little more training is needed or just a reminder how to prioritize time. But other than the service it was a great night out with wonderful food and atmosphere!!

This was my second visit. Myself and a girlfriend sat at the bar to eat a few months ago drinks were awesome. Food was amazing but this time the bartenders service was absolutely amazing !! Wish I remembered his name. So the service last night was an anomaly I hope !! Will definitely go back!! A little on the pricey side.... 2 drinks and our two dinners was 93.00 but .... The food was so on point that we...
