Agustano's Pizza — Restaurant in Stickney Township

In short: If I could give this spot 6 stars, I would.

I'm not even exaggerating at all when I say that this restaurant made me love pizza. It was always okay, but this converted me into a full blown pizza-head. The pies were so perfectly baked with the right bread-sauce-cheese-toppings ratio. Another thing I love about this restaurant is that the sides are actually REALLY good. Usually, pizza places that have fries and pastas only really focus on the pizza. The sides are just kind of there, but Agustano's is so high quality that it would still be a favorite of mine without the pizza. From the Chili Cheese Fries to the Garlic Bread, this place has got it down to a science! I can't finish this review without talking about how good the service was. The young man who made my 'za was as polite as anyone and the other employees were also extremely courteous. On one of my visits, I tripped over my own shoelaces and dropped my slice on the floor. Within seconds, the employees were helping me up, and just a few minutes after that, they treated me with a replacement slice as well as a beverage of choice, free of charge! Other pizza places in this great city are amazing restaurants, but Augustano's transcends the label of eatery. If you are close, I can't recommend this place enough. If you're not close... then get a ride!

Have ordered here for over 2 years. Food and value was usually very descent. CAREFUL THEY CURRENTLY DO NOT HONOR THE COUPONS ON THEIR WEBSITE!!! When I ordered I told them about the coupon on line. Happened to check my bank account and they charged me $10 more! I should have known something was wrong when the guy on the phone didn’t give me a total. I Called back and they said due to the increase of pricing on food, adjustments had to be made and they cannot give me the current coupon price that’s on their website. The manager told them (whoever them is) to change it and but that it will take several days to change. Manager didn’t offer any discount or honor the coupon, just apologized. I understand prices have increased but you shouldn’t be slick and charge whatever you want for an order. At the time I ordered they should have told me that they are no longer accepting the prices/coupons listed on their website or just tell me the correct amount I am being charged. One of the most unpleasant pizza experiences of my life! The place has a tacky appearance with employees that don't even wear uniforms! The cashier serves the food. Very unsanitary! I hate eating establishments that have cashiers touching dirty cash that millions of hands have touched while serving the food. It's quite an ugly eating establishment that is probably in violation of food establishment codes and regulations. Finally, the food was VERY bad. The pizza was cold and bland.
