Overall: I'd say this location is worth a stop before 8 p.m. (and you are willing to request food to be remade if necessary) but not after as they will have a limited menu plus and almost guaranteed no Frostys.
Decent prices if you order from the 4 for 4 menu. The food quality varies greatly on each visit though. I have been going to this location since it opened and the consistency that other fast food places (like McDonald's) is not here. Some visits everything is fresh and good! Then other visits everything is ice cold, or piecemeal (cold fried but hot everything else).
Also in regards to consistency, they constantly DO NOT have FROSTYS!!!!!! Which is what is best about Wendy's!!!!! This location 75 percent of the time I stop by Do Not Have Frosty's during the night and about 50 percent during the day. Tonight we stopped by at 11 pm and they said "sorry we shut down the frosty machine" and I responded "are you not open till 1 am?" they were like yes we are open till then would you like a soft drink? So I would say, if you are unwilling to do the full menu after a certain time please have an evening menu available or close at the time you actually close.
Service - I will give them this, generally the staff is friendly and willing to remake food if you request it, but it is annoying that some workers don't make sure the food they serve is fresh and hot. Though the manager herself is pretty great about spotting it, if she is serving food.
Cleanliness- this location is average on cleanliness, sometimes it is really clean other times it is not. I can say they generally do not have a dedicated person who cleans when they are busy to make sure new patrons have a clean table, though to be fair the only place I routinely see this in other fast food restaurants is McDonald's. But generally it is never so filthy that I would say avoid eating here do the cleanliness.
NOTE Also this review is limited to this location only and not to any other Wendy's including the one on 6th avenue. It is also based on more...
Read moreI came in and was greeted by the food prep guy. The cashier came in a couple minutes later, tapped on the register, messed with a couple cups and then looked at me, she didnt greet me or anything. She didnt even wash her hands. She wasnt in uniform nor did she have a name tag on, I wasnt sure if she even worked there. I asked if she was ready for my order. I ordered a s'awesome combo. Food delivery was fast. Still didnt see the cashier wash her hands and proceeded to chitchat with fellow employees. I didnt see if she handled the food placed in my bag or not but did see that she handled a burger and placed it on a tray for someone else. Still no hand washing though. As I was getting my order a employee threw a balled up burger wrapper at the cashier. It came past my face and landed in the lobby. Poor customer service. Atmosphere was overall clean. The fries were oldish cool and some soggy, the burger was way over done and over seasoned. The sauce was in the middle only and very little. I did not call or return to talk to the manager. I do not live in the area but next time I'm around I...
Read moreUPDATE While we still have the salt and fry issue I have found the need to now count the chicken nuggets each time... This was the second time in a month that each meal was shorted a nugget, unless the now overpriced $5 "value" meals only come with 3 nuggets?? It wouldn't surprise me to be honest.... I think we have given them their last chance and then some... We are done coming here. Between the ridiculous size shrinkage and price inflation and not even getting all the small amount of things we should be it's just not worth the hassle or the money spent.
Goodbye Wendy's
ORIGINAL REVIEW 2019 Bad about over salting the fries, and they are almost always old and nasty every time we get them including just now. Ordering "no salt" fries helps when we remember to ask. If we don't remember them they are usually barely warm and stale/mushy. Have had a few mistakes happen and have brought food backs couple of times so now I check everything before I even leave the drive...
