UPDATE 5 YEARS LATER::
I went back for my birthday Saturday night. There wasnât a huge crowd, but as folks were walking out of the door, the bartenders made sure to tell their regulars that they love them and they hope they got home safe. That was very heartwarming. This time not only did I get some raw oysters, which were absolutely delicious, I got some Bayou oysters. Itâs a special Cajun seasoning as well as some cheese and garlic that they put on it and I highly suggest them. They are reasonably priced and absolutely. Very very delicious. Tell your friends.
We got two orders of Bayou oysters, one order of raw oysters and a pound of fried oysters, as well as beer and a white wine for less than 70 bucks. You canât beat that with a stick.
Gabby and another young lady with beautiful curly hair and a lovely personality took care of me. I am so sad that I forgot her name, but I will never forget her charm. Gabby came over halfway through my meal and said do you happen to like Keylime and I said yes. Moments later the entire bar sang happy birthday to me and I didnât know anybody there but who I was with.
This industry is losing their charm and professionalism. Hospitality is struggling. But not at the bridge oyster bar. I felt cared for and concerned about. I felt like I wasnât meeting any strangers. To Gabby and the other young lady, thank you so much. I had an absolutely wonderful time and I plan to be back very soon.
This place has the freshest oysters in the surrounding county's. It's a golf bar and Steve, the bartender, loves the game. I had never eaten raw oysters before and walked in there today with the express intention of doing just that. Steve awesomely talked me through it and provided me with crackers, raddish, 3 types of hot sauce, and cocktail sauce. 'This isn't a steak,' he said. 'Just give it a few chews to break up the cracker and then swallow it down.' He had a couple regulars in there that cheered me on. My half dozen went down smoothly. I enjoyed the places cleanliness and draft beer selection. Thanks Steve!...

First time here today. Clearly family owned because the people arenât very diverse. The good reviews mustâve came from friends and family.
When I seen the chalk board that said something along the lines of, âBe kind to the staff theyâre handling your food.â
I was immediately turned off. Why would a customer be so rude to your staff that they need a sign..? And is that supposed to be a threat?
Now the food: If someone thinks this is good seafood⌠eh maybe theyâve never had GOOD seafood before. The oysters were decent for the type of place this is and considering the location itâs in. I was shocked but they arenât the best Iâve ever had. Only 1 out of the 12 tasted like it was almost spoiled.
The rest of the food (fried shrimp, fries, and shrimp po boy) was bland, dry, and hard to eat. It just wasnât good. Also, my little sisters stomach started hurting while we were sitting there. My mom and I had to use the restroom immediately after leaving and currently I have acid reflux, and feel like throwing up. We all have healthy guts and no illnesses. I hadnât eaten much today so Iâm positive whatever it is came from the restaurant.
I hate to say this but that food lacks soul. It needs more seasoning. The waitresses need to be more attentive and learn how to work the floor when itâs busy. Iâm pretty sure itâs some entitlement and privilege at play here. Iâm nowhere near the type to complain.
If anything I always make suggestions with somewhere Iâm not happy with because Iâm a restaurant advocate, but this wasnât that type of atmosphere. I was uncomfortable and ready to go. I wanted to like this place but I wonât be back theređ and based on that âwarningâ sign, Iâm sure they...
   Read moreI had picked out another restaurant but...! We ended up at The Bridge Grill and Oyster Bar. Pulling in I asked did you look at the reviews? Ignored as I always am. He say, he looked at the review and it has 4.stars. I asked again did you look at the reviews. We go in and there is a developed settled smell. Maybe in the walls the cushion seats. The whole restaurant need to be opened and banged/soaked with vinegar and air freshener. I said I don't want to eat here. He got a bottled soda and I got sweet tea. I took one sip. It tasted like how the restaurant smelled. I pushed the tea back and said it didn't taste like tea. He ordered his food I ordered The Bayou and fried mushrooms. I put an oyster bayou in my mouth. It tasted so bitter. Now I love me some Oyster Rockefeller. This was a bit watery. Not seen that before. He said oh thats how they cook them. I know better because it is one of my go to dishes. I spit the oyster out not swallowing any of it. I then sat and watched him gulp down his food. He is throwing up and his stomach is not good. I told him I didn't want to eat there. The smell, the reviews made me not want to be a patron. Who posts a sign warning customers to be nice to the people handling your food!!? I am a happy person but, the vibe was not selling to me after I read that review. I was ready to run. I love trying different restaurants but, this place need a visit from the...
