The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are welcoming. The UFO menu item was creative, unique, and very tasty. However, the board menu was confusing, and the Wagyu hot dog didn’t live up to expectations—the mustard sauce was overpowering and the “Wagyu” part felt unclear. ⭐ Long Review Overall, the atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The standout for me was the UFO menu item—it was a unique, creative idea and the taste was excellent. That said, I do have a few critiques. I’m not sure why both a table menu and a board menu are needed; the board menu only added confusion, and I think it would be better without it. As for the Wagyu hot dog, I couldn’t really tell if the sausage was Wagyu, and aside from the sausage, there didn’t seem to be any Wagyu beef in it. On top of that, the mustard sauce was far too strong and overpowered the flavor. If I had only ordered the UFO, I would have easily given a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, the confusing menu setup and the underwhelming Wagyu dish made the overall experience feel inconsistent.

This place was cute! The atmosphere was chill, the service was friendly and the food was good! The food is different, though. The chef is Filipino, which is studied in Denmark, so you are getting some Danish food with halo halo as dessert! Lol (Halo Halo is only available in the afternoon, and I think just on the weekends). With that, though, the menu is only that, but don't be afraid to try! It is so good. The lady at the register gave us her personal recommendations, which was so helpful, and she was so nice and patient. I ended up getting the pork belly sandwich, and my sister had gotten the peppery steak opened face sandwich with smashed potatoes on the side. So good. And our drinks were delicious as well! I had gotten the hazelnut chocolate, and she got the Ube chai. I think their menu changes a bit every month, too, so that adds more variety to their menu. It's a cute place for brunch or lunch date for sure.

I loved the Hallo Hallo, mys sister in law loved the mango cream cake. I need to request a serving of the salmon maybe buy it's self because I love salmon but not with the other flavors. All the other fish with the flavors with bomb. The Herin fish was my favorite then the shrimp. I enjoyed the air fried Halbit and the beef thank you for let me try those as well. And OH MAN I have to definitely walk back and the pickled red onions those was đŸ”„ fire💯. Hands down biggest Hallo Hallo. Ooooo Oooo Ooooo and row is on the sushimi

As a Scandinavian-American that has struggled to find any type of representation in Stockton, I am SO HAPPY that Nordic Bites has opened up! The owner and staff are so friendly, and the food is delicious! The attention to detail and care that the owner puts into the food is wonderful— you can tell that the food is made with love! I loved chatting with the owner and hearing about how much effort she puts into making her ingredients from scratch. That’s a big undertaking! I would definitely recommend Nordic Bites to anyone who’s looking for a delicious meal in Stockton, and would also urge diners who are unfamiliar with Scandinavian flavors to have an open mind and give things like rye bread and different types of pickles a try! The coffee is also delicious (my favorite has been the ginger/cardamon coffee)! We will definitely be back and are so excited to try the full menu once their soft...
