Poppy Coffee — Restaurant in Stockton

Wanted to check them out again it's been a long time since I came here and they use to make smoothies....not no more they don't 😭. I got a small Mexican Mocha & medium coffee. Got there at 9:14. 🙁 Left at 9:50. There was only 2 orders ahead of me. It shouldn't take that long. The Mexican Mocha was gross to thick and it's didn't even have a dash of chilli powder or cayenne powder. That's not a Mexican mocha that's just a spiced mocha with spices in it I'm sorry but some kind of chili powder or some kind of cayenne powder is what makes a Mexican mocha a Mexican mocha. And I shouldn't have to wait as long as I waited for two drinks and only two orders ahead of me it should not take 30 minutes for three customers orders to be done that's poor service I guess I got a reminder of why I stopped coming here. I used to really enjoy poppy’s cafe the customer service was amazing and so friendly however I’m not sure about the new morning staff. There’s never a smile and everything I order they seem to never have. Then why put it on the menu ? And when I ask for things they seem to be annoyed. I hate being looked at like I’m stupid and I get that a lot from them. When I ask for something they just sit there and stare at me like I have the answer? I honestly feel like they don’t want to make certain drinks , how is it everytime I ask for a drink they have on the menu they all of a sudden “don’t have those ingredients” ? The coffee and food at Poppy is very good , the ambiance is great . I give it 4 stars , but I do have one complaint, I usually don’t come to Poppy but today I did come to enjoy coffee and lunch with my cousins. The barista making the drinks today was extremely rude , I haven’t experienced this before with the other staff when I visit , so I was taken back . I wanted to make sure if I had the correct drink , so I asked the barista if the drink she was making was mine , her tone and attitude was very unpleasant. I have never been treated this way before at Poppy. I believe her name was Bernice , one of the staff there told me her name . I hope my experience will be much...
