Seven Birds Ice Cream — Restaurant in Stonington

TERRIBLE customer service. The one scoop they put on my child’s cone was so big I asked for a cup so he could he eat it. By the time they got done charging me the 27 cents for the cup, the ice cream fell off the cone. We got other cones with one scoop for adults that were half that size. They should have recognized they scooped way too big and offered the cup. What kind of establishment charges me 27 cents for their mistake?! I wish there was a way they could have taken it out of the tip I just provided, that they didn’t deserve. Go to Mystic Drawbridge. Way better ice cream, way better customer service. It’s 100% worth the traffic...

Friendly staff, though expect a bit of a wait on busy afternoons ... if you're ordering after others have placed orders, you may need to wait 5 mins or so. Ice cream was a little pricey, but solid quality - kids enjoyed their cotton candy options, and coffee and black raspberry scoops were very good. Oreo was a little stingy on the cookies IMO, but its hard to make bad ice cream. Biggest opportunity for improvement: a seating area! I always buy a cup with with a cone on top because it’s less messy than just ordering a cone. However my cone, just perched on top, fell off after I stepped away from the window. I told the girl scooping that I dropped the cone. She told me that I would have to go to the window to pay for a new cone.
