We went here for Thanksgiving dinner. There was a special menu for the holiday. It was our first time at Outriggers. We decided not to get the traditional turkey dinner. We got the salmon, stuffed shrimp, steak, fried calamari, stuffed mushroom. The salmon was very tasty and they gave a good size piece. The stuffed shrimp dish came with 3 large shrimp, the stuffing had good flavor, the steak was tender and a large piece. The dinners came with a side salad and green beans and potato or rice. The water views from the restaurant are beautiful. We sat on the second floor we saw there was a bar on the first floor. The only thing I didn't like and it really wasn't the restaurants fault is there were two tables with children at the tables and they let there children run around the restaurant playing and crawling on the floor while we were trying to have a nice conversation. We would love to go back soon and try their brunch.

7-4-25 First time here. On a Positive Note: The water view is relaxing. I started with a half of dozen of raw clams. One was a parent and the other fiver were premature babies. I tried to enjoy but I reluctantly asked for a replacement for two which the server obliged. She never offered to change them. She was too busy socializing with her colleagues - probably about me.🤔 Then she proceeded to eat linch in my line of sight.🤦‍♀️ This is not the decorum I would expect at a waterfront restaurant. After we ate our appetizer, we decided to leave and go to Hook and Reel. While, it doesn’t have a water view, the only behavior within my line of site is the bartender making drinks. The Verdict: The clams were highly disproportionate in size. I do not recommend this establishment based on the unprofessional service. Nonetheless, I left an undeserved tip. A Daily Diner

Great first time experience at Outriggers! This place has been on our radar since my husband and I moved to Stratford last year and we finally made it for an early evening dinner on Father’s Day weekend. My husband ordered the poke dish entree and I ordered the Crab and Corn Fritters and scallop appetizer and we shared all three. We rarely eat fried food but I have to say that the fritters were worth it! They were delicious. I also absolutely loved the scallop appetizer and would highly recommend it. The poke bowl was huge and had a lot of good flavors. Everything was priced really well for the quality and you feel like you are on vacation sitting out back on the deck overlooking the water. Lastly, the staff was so kind and welcoming. We can’t wait to return!

Despite some of the negative reviews, we decided to try Outriggers anyway. There will always be that one person out of 10 or 20 that will have a “bad” experience and write a bad review, don’t let that stop you from trying a place. We did just that. It was a beautiful night, we sat outside on the patio. There was live music which was awesome. They played a great selection and it wasn’t too loud or too soft. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a reservation for 6:30 but arrived at 5:30, sat at the bar and had a few drinks taking in the view. Our table was ready promptly at 6:30 and our waitress came over within 5 minutes to take our order. The food was delicious and came out at the right intervals. We had raw oysters that were so fresh, swordfish with lobster, Chilean sea bass, stuffed and drizzled with a horseradish sauce and to finish the churros (sweet and house made). Diana the hostess went around to all the tables making sure everything was okay and the wait staff worked great together...very synched. The food was moderately priced and the drinks the same. Outriggers is well worth it. Reservations are suggested (we called the night before and got a table no problem) but the earlier you call the better, being right on the water they book up fast. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a nice night out with great service, friendly staff, live music, great views and fantastic food. We will definitely be returning here. ~Kelly S. ...

I have come here frequently and have often used this as a go to meeting place for meals with friends and family. Well it pains me to say I won't be doing that anymore. Our table was treated so poorly. The waiter beside having other wait staff there and the outdoors was not nearly at full capacity was abrupt and unpleasant. He made an error on an order, we asked for the sauce of an appetizer to be on the side. He inadvertently requested it on the other app we ordered. No big deal, we're all human, right? Wrong! Waiter's idea of correcting the mistake was to pick it up and put it on a clean plate. The sauce was still on the app.

I never write bad reviews but felt I had to in this case as someone with an allergy would have been in deep trouble by his action.

When I pointed it out, he got upset and said he would have the manager come over because he "can't deal with me right now". I want to point out I never raised my voice or was rude. I merely caught him trying to cover his mistake and compounding it.

All the manager did was take the plate away and barely looked at us and issued a barely audible "sorry".

It really set a bad tone for the family dinner we wanted to have. It was my son's last day before leaving to California. It makes me sad to have had this happen at a place I used...

I ate at Outriggers last night and I saw they closed at 9pm. My boyfriend and I showed up at 7:30p. We ordered our meals and they came out with our check. Our waitress legit had our plates in one hand and our check in the other and placed everything on the table and said "here's the check, no rush but I have to print it and drop it before 8p". What?? We also didn't order sandwiches or anything, we both had large meals where our check came to $110. My boyfriend just put his credit card on the check and pushed it to the side of the table so we can enjoy our meal. Without even asking if we're enjoying the meal or needed anything, the waitress came over and ran his card. We finished our meal and its now about 8:05p. She came by 2 times to see if the check "was all set."... aka meaning we signed and tipped so she can run her report in the back. The place closes at 9p but the 16 year old waitresses made the entire meal feel so rushed. It was so unprofessional and uncomfortable. I just moved to Stratford but I will never go back there. Seriously, we have our plates still in front of us, and she's asking if the check is signed and "all...
