Blue Sky Diner — Restaurant in Stratford

I've been here years ago every morning I drive by and see the nice deck chairs and umbrellas it looks so welcoming i would tell myself one day soon I'm going to have breakfast there and today we did. The deck was really nice. Everyone greeted us and the food was delicious fast and very fresh. I had whole wheat pancakes they were delicious they had just the right amount of cinnamon and flaxseed also eggs over easy perfect and an Englishmuffin. The house coffee was just right. We will definitely be back we were welcomed and very comfortable. Such Wonder people:) I would like to mention our waitress was wearing a mask I truly appreciate when businesses like food establishments were mask not because of a covid thing due to the amount of saliva that goes in the air just talking. Ordered 3cornbeeff hash , two hamburgers , chicken fingers and fries for pick on 9/19/21. At 1.30pm . The food was horrible . The only food that look good and tasted well was the fries. My two of the three kids refused to eat it after a tasting it . My daughter who forced herself to eat the hamburger because she was so hungry and couldn't wait for me to cook ended up with diarrhea and vomiting. She had to cancel school the following morningbecause of the stomach ache . The restaurant was closed by the time I decided to call them . Called early in the morning to speak with the manager who was rude and refused to listen to my complain . I kept my calm and asked to speak with the boss. Called the boss/ owner his name is Nick but the manager told me that he said he will not get the time and to talk with me because he will loose his temper and I can go to hell with...

We have been meeting friends for Sunday brunch for many years at this restaurant. Who doesn't love a diner where the waitress call you "Hon" as she sets your familiar coffee (or tea) in front of you along with the menu. We are vegetarians, but that menu is full of the usual stuff, while the multi-ethnic cook staff keep coming up with new and delicious variations on the standards. Like, their excellent 'huevos' rancheros' can also be ordered as a tortilla wrap, with all the wonderful rice, eggs, beans and homemade 'salsa riojo' combined into memorable mouthfuls! The onion rings are crispy and sweet with several dipping sauces, and then maybe an order of fresh-made beignets to finish off the meal.
