Would never go here again. Management is rude and disrespectful. We came in and went to the bar and then found what we did believe was an empty table but the group at the next table explained it was reserved for their party but they haven't shown up and it's been nearly an hour since that they've been there and invited my group of 13 to join their group and take the table. The manager (John Justice) approached me after 10 minutes and told me my party cannot sit here because if was reserved. After I explain the reserving party invited us to join them and they confirmed the same after he very rudely asked me "who told you that?!" Even then, he said "they can't do that, you need to get it up." By the encouragement of my group, we did relocate to the bar. However I noticed after 15 minutes he removed a reserved sign from that table and 10 minutes after that sat a party of FOUR at that same table and even noticed that another table next to that one was empty now too. We continued to hang around the bar for about 30 more minutes and then decided it was time to go. As we were leaving we happened to quickly chat with some folks from the first group that invited us to join them and brought up how rude the manager was. They then said they were leaving and welcomed us yet again to simply take their table however we explained we were leaving too. By the door, we saw a group of roughly 7 waiting for seating and we asked how long they've been waiting. They said 45 minutes. Both our groups said just come have a drink with us and take this table (the one the 1st group was leaving). A guy overheard that and said you can't do that, and we turned around to see that it happened to be the same manager. I asked him how they wouldn't be allowed to invite someone to their party, have a drink, and invite them to sit with them just as we were invited when we first met that group. He immediately said to me "you're drunk you need to leave before I call the cops!" I was astonished by his continued rudeness and told him I was leaving anyway and turned to the group that was waiting to be seated and said if I were them, I wouldn't waste my money at this place and the manager said "I'm calling the cops, leave!" I told him I would never come spend my here again and would make sure this story is heard on whatever review platform I could find. Unfortunate this establishment can't be courtesy and reasonable to guests that come to spend money for overpriced...
Read moreI have to say you have the absolute most unprofessional business Brew Garden Strongsville. The service there was so unbelievably bad, well actually there was no service. On October 27th i went there with my fiance around 6:37pm we waited there until around 6:51pm. The entire place was not busy at all and the Browns were playing! Anyways we waited there for about 10min and no one came to our table we were enjoying looking around at all your Halloween stuff while sitting at our table and all set to order. About 6:48pm someone finally walks by after we see EVERY employee standing around not doing anything. This girl walked by and wasn't even going to stop walking until my fiance said hi to her so then she stopped and said hi... He had asked to get a Beer and she said ugh..actually that just changed and she explained it to him very rudely and not very informative and was walking away while telling it to him and so we couldn't really understand what she was trying to say and so I quickly asked if we could get waters and she said yeah uh huh again as she was walking away... We waited until 6:51pm and still had NO waters and this waitress never even told us her name so we just decided to look at the decorations and walk out. We could see all employees standing around doing absolutely nothing but couldn't get any of their attention. We felt very unwelcome there and we were very excited to go there for the FIRST time to check out all the decorations and enjoy a great meal. I had called the store to let a manager know what had happened and it took 5min for him to even get to the phone after some lady rudely answered. She answered and I had asked to speak to the manager and she said what is this about so i explained it to her and she replied back yeah hold on with a rude tone in her voice. I had finally spoke with the manager after almost hanging up and told him how unprofessional everyone at your establishment is he said "oh man i wish you would have told that to me when you were here" well i am sorry i am not going to stay some where after having to complain to a manager. He apologized but he sounded like he had absolutely no idea what he was doing and not very convincing when apologizing to me and all he could say is I hope you give us another try. This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to and I will...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to check out Brew Garden due to the photos we had seen on social media. The Halloween decor looked really fun and cool and being big fans of Halloween, we went for drinks after dinner at Condados down the street. What a mistake. When we arrived we were met with a sign at the front entrance proclaiming there would be a 4% fee added to all bills due to "rising costs." Annoying, but we pressed on. There was nobody at the host counter where we waited to be greeted/seated. We did encounter one young lady who stared at us before saying nothing and walking past us. A simple "Hello/Welcome, "name" should be here to seat you in just a moment" would have been nice, but nothing. Eventually another lady came up to us and said "The kitchen's closed. If you want drinks you can sit somewhere by the bar." Alright, no biggie. We were only here for drinks. Again, no actual greeting. Just cold statements with an annoyed tone.
We sat at the bar and were treated with the same annoyed and cold demeaner. We decided to have two of the specials: Howl at the Moon & What's Your Type. I think those were the names. Either way, they both were boring and the blood bag one (What's Your Type) tasted like Robitussin. Neither were worth anywhere near the ~$10 each cost.
We also witnessed one bartender wiping off a counter and immediately shaking the towel off over the open ice and another girl kept leaning the mop handle on liquor bottles so that the handle was touching the nozzle tips.
When another bartender (that's 3 of 4 that were there for the roughly 20 people in the entire place) checked on us and my wife said she really didn't like the drink he did end up taking it off our bill. She had taken maybe 3 small sips from it so I was thankful that he removed it from our bill. We don't normally ever ask for something like that but there was no way we were going to pay $10 for 3 sips of gross syrup in a bag.
Overall, the decorations were fun but that's the only enjoyable thing...
