LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Strongsville

I frequent this restaurant often. 99% of the time this is an absolutely fantastic place to dine. Food is perfect every time. I visited last night 08/16/2013 - food was still fantastic, the "Manager" and "Waitress" not so much. There were tons of people waiting so YES calling ahead is a good idea. We were told there was a 20-25 minute wait for the tables, but if we sat at the bar or the patio we could be seated right away. 20 minutes later my pager thing goes off and the "Manager" points a finger to the left at a waitress and says "Stephanie will..." blah blah - I honestly don't know because she (The Manager) wasn't even looking at us...and this poor girl (the waitress) was going to take us to the patio - that was supposed to be immediate...after waiting 20 minutes, nope we wanted a table. As we were walking through, there were at least 10 empty tables - cleared and ready for seating. We were told they had to "slow down seating because the kitchen was backed up" my thought: it's a Friday night, you don't think your going to be busy? Bring in an extra cook maybe...anyway after we were seated we get an "obnoxious" waitress...then the same obnoxious waitress was sweeping the floors at tables where people were eating...under MY feet while I'M EATING...really? I still love this place and will not give it a bad rating just because of one...

I recently celebrated a birthday dinner with a group of five at Longhorn Steakhouse (Happy Birthday Diyaa), and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We indulged in a delectable feast, featuring filet steaks and ribeye steaks that left our taste buds dancing with delight.

To kick off our meal, we ordered two appetizers of shrimp, and they were nothing short of impressive. The shrimp were not only large but also perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. They set the stage for the mouthwatering steaks that were to follow.

The staff at Longhorn Steakhouse were incredibly attentive throughout our dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.

What truly impressed us was the value for the quality of food we received. Longhorn Steakhouse offers premium steaks that are priced just right for the exceptional taste and dining experience they provide. We left feeling satisfied and pleased with the overall value.

Without a doubt, we will be returning to Longhorn Steakhouse for future celebrations and special occasions. It was a memorable evening filled with delicious food, great service, and wonderful company. Highly...

My party and I were frankly disappointed by our meal. Our waiter was wonderful and advocated for us and his service was one of the few good things of the night. The biggest issue we had was a terribly undercooked steak which came out almost rare when the person ordered it medium. He did his best to eat it so not to inconvenience our waiter but ultimately had to tell the waiter he just couldn't eat it. Instead of getting a new steak the manager came out and said he would cook it for a little longer and tried to explain that the undercooking was due to the bone in the steak. That may well be the case, but if a restaurant is known for its steak I would think they would be able to properly cook steaks, and all it would have taken was an apology for not presenting the steak as medium in the first place instead of trying to justify it. This member of my party woke up in the middle of the night not feeling well and had to go to work on reduced sleep. This was our first time at a Longhorn and we were really hoping for a good memorable experience but we will likely not return. Once again, our waiter really saved the day and was wonderful but the negatives really outweighed the positives in...
