Potbelly — Restaurant in Strongsville

November 7, 2025 at about 6:15 PM. This was the first time I’ve tried this place, and I decided to order the BLT wrap (with avocado), to go. The guy who took my order was welcoming, professional, and asked me to let him know if I have any questions about the menu. The other two workers, though, were strictly business and not at all personable. - which is OK but, not the right vibe which any business should be putting out there in such a competitive industry. It was obvious that the guy who took my order cares about this business & his customers. Places like this need more people like him. As for the wrap, which costs $10.39 (including tax), I think there should have been more of everything added to it, considering this price level. This wrap is not very big, so it certainly could have used larger servings of each ingredient. Also, the bacon was undercooked and a bit rubbery, which definitely isn’t cool.

After my partner and I walked in and stood by the register to order it took over 5 minutes for one of them to tell us where we could order, it was both of our first times going to a potbelly and we just assumed to order at the register. Once we got to the right spot the lady taking our order was very nice and helpful and literally the only one that seemed to care. Once we got up to the register, the guy asked what we ordered, right after we saw the lady tell him what we ordered, mind you we were the only ones in the place. We paid and waited for our food to be made. While that was happening another guy asked me if I wanted avocado on my avocado turkey sandwich, to which I replied yes to. When I got to eat my sandwich, I was almost done with the first half I saw a small curly black hair in my food. I personally have longer brown straight hair and my partner has red hair, it wasn't us. I really want to point out that the employees working here are busting their butts and doing the best they can, but this establishment is not set up to handle the volume they are seeing. I placed an online order for a future pickup, and still waited in the store for 25 minutes past my pickup time. There is nowhere for one person stand and wait for their late order, and certainly not room for the 5 plus people who were waiting for their orders as well. Everybody was constantly having to shuffle around to accommodate people walking in to order, and even though I waited 25 minutes not a single thing, not even an apology for the wait, was offered. I know it is not realistic to expect an order placed ahead for a specific time to be immediately ready at that time, but to get it 30 minutes late without even being offered a drink, cookie, or a simple apology for the wait is unacceptable.
