Read moreThe food here is authentic and super delicious! We are so glad you guys are in Strongsville, we had to drive downtown for the longest time .
I have been here three or four times. While the food is stunning -- Outstanding. Authentic. Fresh. Handmade. Huge portions. -- the service is lacking and makes me want to stop taking friends here or come back. The young woman who waits on you seems to speak and understand English well; so, language is not the barrier. But she seems either unfamiliar the menu or unhelpful and unwilling to help customers. One time I asked the difference between the eggplant with garlic sauce and the fried eggplant and asked if the fried one was just fried crispy with the same sauce where the other was sauteed or steamed. She said yes. What came out was breaded dry eggplant with no sauce. I said that is not what I wanted. She said that is what you ordered. I said based on what you told me. My friend asked if we could just exchange the dish for the other eggplant and were told no. Tonight I went and told her I wanted a spicy but sweet fish dish with vegetables in it. She told me to order the Taian fish with yam cakes. That was great fish but in a szechuan pepper and chili oil sauce with no vegetables. My friend ordered the shrimp in spicy garlic sauce that had the sweet, sour, hot flavor with tons of veggies. I told her I loved that and wanted fish in that kind of sauce. She said they could make that. Then why didn't you give me that? Both times I ate little and my food went in the garbage for bills in the $60s. Unacceptable. Get yourself together people. I am afraid to come back when you are so unhelpful and then blame it on the customer but still take...

We love supporting local, high quality, and friendly businesses.
Originally, there were concerns that this was going to be a generic Chinese food restaurant but when I read a review that this is the same menu as Asia Plaza I got excited!
For anybody who isn't familiar, Szechuan is known for its spicy food and the use of Szechuan peppercorns which have a tingling, numbing effect. If you haven't had it, it's a uniquely delicious flavor!
My top tier personal go-to recommendations, in order: Sour and Spicy Potato (spicy) Spicy Crispy Eggplant Teriyaki Tofu (amazing sauce) Dried pot shrimp (Numerous flavors for the adventurous) Tofu w.Vegetable & Mushroom in Hot Pepper Oil (Spicy) Sauteed Cabbage w Dried Pepper (spicy)
My 2nd tier go-to recommendations: Scallion Pancake (good to nibble on) Salt & Pepper Crispy Tofu Fried Wonton (kids love pot stickers) 291 house special lomein (for the less adventurous)
Drinks: Brown Sugar Boba Tea (half sugar, don't get this for younger kids who are at-risk for choking)
When my friends and/or family come in from out of town, this place always impresses. The 231 or any of the hot pepper oil dishes provide plenty of flavoring so are an excellent value!
The service is wonderful every time I go. I recommend always doing family-style so you can try more flavors.
Thank you for opening up in Strongsville...
