Food wise, I am in love- if I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would. Their ingredients are clean, extremely fresh (like that day- right in front of your face fresh), healthy choices but enough variety that people can choose and find something they would like, regardless of food preference. They have vegan options, vegetarian and also plenty of meats to choose from. Quinoa options- aka “power grains”, huge variety of different greens for salads, rice bowls, noodle bowls. The three star rating comes in because: they aren’t environmentally conscious and they should be. Clearly they promote clean and healthy living, that’s great. But when I saw all the plastic they use- from my carryout bowl to the straws, plastic cups, etc. I was really disappointed. They do have metal silverware and ceramic bowls if you dine in, but that’s not enough. I expect that stuff in other establishments (unfortunately), but I thought for sure a place like this would promote a healthy earth. I’m sorry to say, I probably won’t be back unless they make some sort of effort towards less plastic. Even just one thing, like only offering straws by request. Or paper based carryout containers. Something. Anything. Hopefully this will change in the future.

Some places are more expensive for a reason, the reason for CoreLife Eatery to be more expensive is: Because they can. I ordered the combo deal giving me a soup on the side and a Spicy Thai Chicken & Rice Noodle Salad. The salad was okay but a bit pricey for the portion, but the soup......look at the picture and take a wild guess at the kind I asked for. Chicken and Noodle? A dark pea soup? That is their rendition of Broccoli Cheddar, an incredibly watery lentil tasting soup that had 2 broccoli pieces at the bottom. I took the soup back thinking "They must have given me the wrong soup". Instead, they reaffirmed that this is their Broccoli Cheddar soup, just that it was light on cheese sauce. Cheese Sauce? I took one bite of the soup before returning it and if you honestly asked me to name ingredients in the soup, I would have not even been able to think for a single second that there was cheese in that Broccoli Cheddar soup. Do me a favor and look at your own menu CoreLife, compare the picture to what the soup looks like on your menu, and figure out how to make them the same.

I really enjoyed the food in the beginning but it has been going downhill for over a month now. Orders are not right half the time and now they seem to not even care about the food they give to customers. The wrap I received was completely ripped. Basically it was ripped in half and they just wrapped it in the tin foil and called it a day. I guess you have to actually go in to watch them make your food otherwise if you order pick up like I do, you're basically setting yourself up for disappointment. I'm no longer going to waste my money here.

Very strange experience that still is a bit mind-boggling. I was picking up an order that a family member ordered online and paid for with a credit card.

My family member placed the order from their website, paid for it with a credit card and all set for me to pick up, right? Well what could go wrong?

I always try and order online at restaurants when I can or with an app to avoid standing in line. Walked right in.. went right to cashier. she was checking someone out, finished with her, leaving me at the checkout stand alone.. She went right back to the prep line leaving me standing there alone.

That was a bit strange but nothing compared to what took place next. When I got her attention that I was picking up an online order I was expecting her to confirm my name and hand me an order, already bagged up.

Did that happen here? Oh no. she goes into how one of the items ordered is no longer available. At first I had no idea what she was saying.. I asked her what she means and she said how one item is not available now and asked me if I wanted something else? Something else? I am merely doing someone a favor...

I don't even know what they ordered I know what they would like There are several people in line already I ordered online to avoid waiting

And the biggest issue.. the order was placed on THEIR website and the order went through and my credit card was charged.. What does that even mean the item is not available? I vaguely recall her saying how that was a summer item and no longer available.

Still very confusing.. the item was on their website and the order went through and the credit card was charged. I reminded her of that and she is like, oh the website is sometimes behind with updates.. Again. not my issue.. . I asked if the missing item was on the credit card and she said yes...

By that time I just wanted to get out of there.. I asked for a refund for the item charged on my credit card but not in the bag.. She gave me cash back instead of crediting my card, another strange thing.

May be the strangest thing I ever saw when trying to pick...

The food is fine, but I feel like the staff just doesn't have it all together. On my most recent visit, the dining room and restroom was dirty, the trash was piled up so high around the dish return area, that we couldn't empty our trays the proper way and the drink station was dirty and needed to be wiped down. Every occasion that I've been to this location, they have been out of clean silverware. I felt the quality of food has been better at other locations, as well as the cleanliness, and will probably avoid the Strongsville location in the future. I will say that the staff is always very kind and polite every time I've been here, but that alone is not enough for me to come back. 1/12/20 update. We came back to try again. The food was good, as always. The eating area is cleaner than my previous experience. The trash situation does seem to be under better control. While I was there, I watched an employee bus the trash/dish return area that was full. The drink station could use a little love. The only still gross thing was the silverware.... I couldn't find a clean spoon and had to take matters into my own hands by washing one myself in the restroom. Eew. I will up my initial review of "2 stars" to "3 stars" based off of the improvements...

Ive eaten here on quite a few occasions and even brought some friends to try something new. It has made my stomach upset a couple times though I attributed it to all the greens. The last two times I was there the workers were acting very rude...i had asked the worker what she likes there n she quickly said "i would never eat anything from this place...just went again today and this will be my last time...restaurant/lobby was a mess...debris and trash all in the area they make the food...smelled funky a TON of gnats flying around the food and even more by the drink machine...the avacado scooper is food poisoning waiting to happen sitting in a dish of warm slop water which appeared to not have been changed all day...same with the eggs...also not very appetizing to watch the gnats land into food while shes scooping it into the bowl....silverware was all scummy...they were missing some of the ingredients they usually have out and when i inquired the girl got an attitude and dropped the big bowl on the ground...for the $16+ dollars i paid for one salad (lots of toppings) i would expect to have some clean utensils and better service...i really like the idea of a place i can go to get variety of veggies and things to eat...but unfortunately this will be my...
