I would not recommend for iphone screen replacement.
I took my iphone in for a screen replacement after it shattered (for the first time in over a decade). The screen was replaced, which cost close to $400 with no insurance. The very next day, my phone hit the table at an odd angle, and the screen shattered again. Now, again, it had been over 10 years since I'd shattered a screen, so clearly the new screen wasn't of the same quality of the original. I took it back to ibreakufix but they wouldn't cover the new, now-shattered screen, so I had no choice but to have it repaired again, being that I was traveling. This cost another near $400 without insurance.
Now, at about 5 weeks since that second screen repair, my screen suddenly becomes completely non-responsive. I took my phone to apple, and they said that often with ibreakufix screen repairs, they don't seal the new screen, so humidity had likely gotten into the layers of the screen and caused my phone irreversible damage. So I had to pay to replace my phone iphone 15.
Save yourself the trouble (and money) and go to Apple for screen repairs. With no Apple care or insurance, they charge the same amount as ibreakufix for a factory-grade...
Read moreI had my phone screen on my s23 ultra 1TB replaced here a few months ago and would never go back. Other than a a small crack in my screen there was no other damage to my phone until I took it here. I paid $431 for screen replacement to get my phone back with a bunch of scratches in the metal and paint missing from under the back glass. ALSO now a few months later the glue that they used during their repair is failing causing the screen to lift up and become separated from the rest of the phone. I would avoid this place at all costs.
EDIT: so I ended up taking my phone back after taking to this store on the phone. They replaced the adhesive at no cost since it was under their labor warranty. But now my phone shuts off with any sudden movement making it unusable.
EDIT: Took my phone back for a 3rd time for the crashing issue. I was in and out within 30 minutes and it seems that everything is cleared up. Hoping 3rd times the charm
Edit: it wasn't a crashing issue. The technician didn't plug in the battery properly and any movement would disconnect the battery for a...
Read moreSame experience as Keith Kurak except mine was a warranty fix I don't have preferred care. First I made an appointment, called and was told they didn't have my screen and would have to order it. So glad I called and saved myself the 1st wasted trip. Then a week or so later I was told the screen was in drove there and apparently they gave my screen away to someone else. Why they don't stock a few of these since this is clearly common is beyond me. A simple sticky note with a customer's name or ticket # and ordering a part when a customer places an appointment for screen replacement, not consultation, would have turned a 2-3 week 2-3 visit ordeal into a one and done. If my phone ever breaks to the point I can't use it I will call the other Asurions and not the Strongsville location since it sounds like other stores keep common screens such as Pixel 8 in stock. Just a strange experience with minimal communication to customers without calling or visiting the store which is not a...
