Sugar Mama's Bakeshoppe and Icecream LLC — Restaurant in Suffolk

I went in there on the evening of May 3rd and brought a of slice strawberry crunch and it was a little firm for my liking of cake and I understand they keep the cake refrigerated, me personally I do not like cold cake so I let it set out before I’ll eat it. There is also a big difference from cold and stale and the cake was just that smh. I was crushed as I had my mouth set cause I love cake and have been there plenty of times. So I take the cake back and I explain to her the issue I spoke or above and she tells me it’s firm due to it being cold. I told her the cake is not cold now and it’s still firm smh. She did not like what I told her as she went to the back and got me another piece of cake. Waited to eat it that evening and it was stale just like the other slice. I even told her about the strawberry cupcakes cause they are stale too when I tried them. I will never go here again. Due to mainly the lady not having any professionalism or even respect for a customer cause if it wasn’t stale I wouldn’t have eaten the cake just like I have plenty of times. Business Owner 101 Accountability!!! FYI idk how the hole in the cake got there...

My Experience with this bakery was not the best. the professionalism was not great at all. She inconvenienced my family on the day of my father birthday. She didn’t finish our cake until we arrived because she couldn’t find the alcohol that’s my mother brought 2 weeks ahead of time. She didn’t call and say anything until today that she didn’t have the bottle then found it when we arrived at the store to pick up our order . She iced the cake and put the bottle on top and told us to chill it ourselves. When we arrived home the bottle had feel off due to the unchilled, freshly iced cake . We had to drive another 30 minutes back for her to fix it and she told us to give her an hour to fix the cake. We asked for a discount because of the multiple inconveniences and she said she doesn’t give those if the problem is fixable. I believe the overall service was trifling because we booked a cake to be ready on time and it’s late and then we had to complete multiple trips for a mistaken that was on there end .
