During our visit to the restaurant we were placed at another table and told we were going to get our food after the cook had cooked for the other table. This although very unacceptable we agreed to because we were hungry. We were placed under a vent that had mold growing on it and it was open and hanging over. The table and bits of the moldy air filter had already dropped onto the table and some of it landed in my son's hair. When faced with this, we asked the waiter if he had intended to close the vent or move us and he asked us if we would like to move tables as opposed to closing the vent . When you go in there they seat you and you are not allowed to sit at the area of the table you want. They basically tell you where you have to sit and you're not allowed to move. We've been in there before and most of the time it is very dirty. The windows haven't been cleaned and the under parts of the tables are dirty and the blinds need to either be cleaned or replaced. It's a shame that OSHA didn't come in there and check the establishment for mold, or bacteria, and I wouldn't surprise me if they didn't have rodents. We did get sushi which was average, my sushi was barely filled and my husband's sushi had dry fish inside it. I do understand there are different cultures in different expectations and my family and i are not super picky, we are grateful for everything. When we pay this kind of money for food however we expect some sort of standard of cleanliness. It really was a shame especially the waiter who didnt want to close the...

Nice guy sat us by a hibachi grill. We had time to take in the surroundings. The water out back was nice if you don’t mind looking through dirty windows. That led us to look closer. This place needs to be deep cleaned. Bad. The menus were sticky and had food on them. The salt/pepper shakers were also sticky as F. The reviews made it seem like “a hidden gem”- (says you) -so we decided to look past the obvious violations and see if the food was what garnered the reviews. I ordered an avocado 🥑 salad- bag salad with a sad avocado on top. The blackened tuna I saw in a review made me want that so I ordered it. Big difference, half that amount, and the fish was in water- (?) 👀 Was this microwaved? The person I was with had “hibachi” steak, that came from the kitchen not the hibachi. A lot of fat on the steak, and the bowl the clear soup was in, smelled like old grease. Been here 20 years? OK. Looks like you have not deep cleaned in that long. Tighten up. Nice staff,...

Well, I visited this restaurant on June 7th. My family and I took my two nephews here after their high school graduation and we were the only customers there. The first thing I noticed walking in was how outdated this place is. They definitely need to renovate the restaurant especially the ramp leading into the restaurant. The waiter seemed to be impatient and condescending. The food was okay...not the best hibachi I’ve tasted. In addition, I didn’t realize that the gratuity was going to be added to our final bill making it much higher than it needed to be but I digress. I don’t think I want to go back to this place again.

I've had a lot of Sushi in my life, and this is probably the some of the worst Sushi I've ever had. I don't have amazing taste buds, but I could tell the raw fish in my Yellowtail roll was BAD. Also, a huge part of enjoying Sashimi is the presentation... look at how poor the presentation of their Sashimi was! The salmon was OK at best, but the Tuna was terrible. I wish I had gone to Iron Chef Restaurant down the road instead.
