You get what you pay for. We stayed overnight for 4th of July so there was no vacancy otherwise I would have requested a new room. Our room was FILTHY. The floors were sticky, and dirty. There was a questionable looking chair that should be thrown away and what looked like mold on the luggage rack. Only thing clean about the room was the toilet. Even the sheets has stains along with the walls. For our room to also be non smoking it stunk like cigarettes and the people around us were definitely smoking weed causing the hallways and elevator to stink. When we arrived no one was there to check us in at the desk (same for check out) and they also did not enforce their customers only parking so people were parking at the hotel to see the fireworks across the street.

This was my first time staying at a Red Roof Inn, and I was pleasantly surprised. You definitely get what you pay for here. It's right next to a McDonald's, but having lived in Suffolk until recently, I have to say this particular McDonald's isn’t very good. The view was terrible—it was literally just a concrete wall. However, if you walk outside to the front on the other side, you can see the river. The amenities were as described on Priceline. The bed was comfy and clean, and the TV worked. The microwave plate was the wrong size and didn't spin, but the microwave itself still worked fine. The check-in staff were very friendly too. Overall, I'd rate this Red Roof Inn location a solid 6.5 out of 10.

Walk in and bathroom is to your right. Floor looks dirty, towels wet and on the floor. Trash cans overflowing. Cans of red bull everywhere. Bed looked slept in and more trash and REEKED OF CIGARETTES. We got there late evening so there is no way the room hasn't been cleaned since check out especially since there seemed to be no one else at the hotel. Although they immediately moved us to a different room on the same floor that new room was okay. The only good thing I would say is that they do allow dogs and have no breed restrictions but even our dog wasn't too ecstatic to be here.

things i loved were the location of our room and the hotel. we had a great view of the river. we stayed 4 days and over all our experience was great. everyone was very friendly. and they were very helpful. beds and pillows were comfy and clean. bathroom was clean except not swept behind the door. we loved to take the dog walking by the river. it would be nice to have bench or chairs down there because it is a very pleasant spot. | it is definitely a budget hotel so if you are looking to be catered to this is not the place for you. if you like a decent price and a pleasant no frills stay this is for you. i never saw any housekeepers and went to the desk to ask for tp ,towels etc. our room did look as tho it had been cleaned but things like corners were not swept and the microwave and fridge were not dusted but it was spotless on the inside. sort of like if you could not see it, well ,it half way got clean, like behind the door. would i stay again? oh yes it was not bad enough to not stay in just a few...

The service man clerk was the one most unprofessional person I ever dealt with when I stayed here back on Feb 23. When I checked in he said a very crude joke about the room type I stayed in, non-smoking. As he was telling me about instructions about the room type he joked: "If you smoke in the room, you might as well go out to the back and blow your brains out." It caught me off guard when he said it but I took it EXTREMELY offensive. Then I wanted to ask him a different kind of question before I went to my room and he closed the window on me. Brushing it off, the next morning when I went to check out I saw him outside smoking a cigarette and proceeded to hand him my room key. He had an attitude and told me to just put it on the service window. After I did that I then asked him about my $40 insurance refund fee and he told me in a snarky way that it would be put back on my debit card. I was in a hurry and I didn't have time to argue with him any further. I will NOT be staying at this hotel anymore as long...

The Red Roof Inn was very clean with bright white linen, towels, etc. I have no complaints about the cleanliness or sanitation of this motel. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Fresh towels were delivered and trash was emptied daily. None of my personal belongings were disturbed despite not being present when my room was entered. I was allowed to have my dog there, and there were no issues there. The first pet is free! The only downsides were as the location is downtown, I noticed quite a few transients hanging about from time to time. Nobody bothered however, and they were friendly. Another downside is the “cable” television. I had this provider (Fios) when I lived locally, and it is the absolute worst cable provider. Literally, 4 out of every 5 channels are infomercials or advertisements. If you plan on being there more than a night, I suggest bringing an iPad or laptop for entertainment as the motel does have free WiFi. I plan to stay here...
