Until Resolved DO NOT EAT at the 1822 Highway 6 Sugar Land Texas 77478 location. Drive Thru Service
Hello Owner, and Management. I have been delaying to report this to you for several weeks now. Mainly, because I do not prefer any type of confrontation. About two week ago around 8:45pm I greatly anticipated ordering a ribeye steak sandwich that I have ordered quite frequently from your establishment. I was at the drive thru window where I was greeted by a young lady that was laughing beyond control. I always am kind and pleasureable to others. After ordering she gave me my change and just could not stop laughing with someone in the store that was cooking my food.
When she came back to the wi dow with my food she was laughing profusely and after I gave her a nice tip, her laughing was beyond control.
After arriving home I immediately savored eating my sandwich. But OH MY GOD!!! Immediately , after eating the sandwich I had a very sharp excruciating pain in my stomach. My conscious all alomg was letting me know somwthing wasnt right due to the unprofessional behaviour of the long girl at the window, yet my trusting vibe said nothing was wring when in fact the cook and this young lady deliberately poisioned/laced my food with a powerful drug or poision of so e type that harmed me all night long. The whole night as well as the next day I was very disappointed and felt violated to the extreme. I know if you really want to know who did this yiu know the character of yiur workers and they should be immediately fired and this should ne put on their record to never work for your establishment ever again. I have been a regular customer of Becks Prime for if I remember correctly 25years. As much as I have love the Ribeye Steak sandwich I am afraid to go back to the 1822 Highway 6 Sugar Land, Texas 77478 location. Owners and Management take notice and have decisive action on these employees. FIRE THEM before an attorney...
Read moreSad to say this place has gone to dogs. The manager is a real jerk and his customer service is appalling. Having in-laws in Sugar Land, I've frequented several of the Becks Prime locations in the Houston area over the last 12 years. This Sugar Land location is by far the worst. The military discount was refused to me because I didn't "look military' according to the manager. Never having had this problem before, I was completely bewildered -- I showed this imbecile manager my active duty military ID! After discussing with him the idiocy which he was presenting to me while I was trying to complete my $60 order at the to-go pick-up window (ie- the food was already cooked to order and in a bag for pick-up), he offered to give me a 5% military discount off 1 burger..and acted like I was being a rude customer. He was very dismissive and flippant; telling me that he didn't need our business. Now I completely appreciate that the military discount is not a right but rather a generous discretion of the company, but this manager took it way out of line. I've never had a problem before, but I'll take my businesss elsewhere from now on. I didn't demand their military discount that the company offers; it is their common practice and policy at their stores. I'll gladly find one of the other businesses to spend my hard earned money at. I'd rather drive the extra 20 minutes to one of the other locations, but in all honesty this experience has soured my opinion of the whole company. If this is the type of customer service that they promote and encourage in their employees, then they should find another...
Read moreWe hadn't visited this location in quite a while, long before lockdown, but always had a quality experience. This visit likewise was very good. . We ordered at the counter, where there was not only a plexi barricade but a table placed to force separation. It felt excessive, but they can do whatever they want to keep their employees safe. We were given the Number 29 flag and sat at a socially distanced table inside. Others sat outside, but it was gross humidity season and we appreciated the indoors accommodations. . Not too long later, we were served. I love their style of fries, 3/8" real potato fried to a dark and pleasantly greasy doneness. They weren't shy with the salt, which was very nice. Delicious. . The hickory burger was perfectly cooked. I could have used more juice. My wife ordered the same thing and remarked that she always wished she could order extra sauce. I agree, double sauce would be better. . Speaking later to friends, we remembered when Becks Prime seemed soooo expensive. Since then, we've learned that they aren't outrageous; they are typical, and fairly priced for a crafty burger. They were never Top 10 in Texas, despite what an Austin-based magazine said. But they do scratch that itch and they are accessible. That counts for...
