Visited today Friday 07/18 at 12PM: I seriously do not know why this location has anything past 2 stars. TERRIBLE LOCATION. I do not care if it is ran & operated by the same family or friends from the owners, a lot of ppl need to get fired. Service is POOR, the cashier & line ladies are rude , I went with my family & we spent about $90 , it’s not about the money but when you spend anything to support someone’s business you expect to get treated right. There was literally no one waiting in line behind me and the cashier lady was rushing me and was rude to my sister my dad & I. They have like 3 big signs showing a lunch special Monday-Friday until 4PM, and guess what, we went on Friday around 12PM & she denied giving it to us & said her manager told them that morning that she wasn’t going to be offering it today, like what? So remove all the big posters then!!! The only nice people with good customer service there was a young lady named Katherine & another young lady with long black hair , looks similar to Katherine. Other than that, the other 2-3 ladies at the front are plain rude , you buy a build your own pizza and they get mad and give you ugly stares when you add more cheese , or want more than 3 toppings. This place is just down bad terrible , or maybe not the place itself but the workers they have make it seem that way. If this is family friends / owner friends working for the restaurant they aren’t NOT doing them a favor. I seriously don’t know why this place has over 2 stars. Like I mentioned , KATHERINE & the other young lady like her are the ONLY NICE PEOPLE HERE. oh & did I mention , they have NO WORKING ICE in the machine ? You feel even uncomfortable asking anything or eating there because the front ladies are just giving you ugly stares , and if you bring up something you don’t like or that is wrong , omg they lose it on you. I hope more people realize how much THIS LOCATION sucks because of their workers and either make some changes or something about it because they’re going to lose business & they make blaze pizza look bad. Not coming back here , the other location is so southwest freeway is much better and I bet you they aren’t owned by the same people because the atmosphere is so...
Read moreWe visited Blaze Pizza in Sugar Land for the first time on 8/22. The service was decent at the counter, but once we got home, we noticed our pizzas were soggy (which seemed to be more of a crust issue than how they were made). Because of this, we didn’t finish them.
The next day, my husband called the store to explain what happened and was asked to bring back the pizzas along with our receipt. We did exactly that. Upon arrival, we spoke with the same woman he had spoken to on the phone. She told us she was the manager though we later learned she was not. After inspecting the pizzas, she told us we couldn’t get a refund. My husband explained we weren’t asking for money back, only that the pizzas be remade. She insisted nothing was wrong and said she couldn’t make them on a different crust because she had no way to charge for it. She then pretended to “call” someone for approval, though she was really speaking with the actual manager who was standing nearby the entire time.
When pressed again about who the manager was, she admitted that it was Marcy. After some back-and-forth, Marcy finally agreed to remake the pizzas but only on the same soggy crust that was the original issue.
This entire interaction was disappointing. We weren’t asking for anything free we followed their instructions, brought the pizzas and the receipt back, and were still met with rudeness and dishonesty. Customer service here was severely lacking. While the ingredients seemed fresh, the way this was handled left a bad taste in our mouths. MOD Pizza continues to be a better option not just for quality, but also for customer service.
We had high hopes after reading good reviews, but our first experience here will likely be our last. Unfortunately, we’ll be sharing our negative experience with friends and...
Read moreBlaze Pizza in Sugar Land, Texas, has truly become one of our family’s favorite dining spots. My son is an absolute fan of Blaze Pizza, and his love for their perfectly crafted pies goes back many years. In fact, while we were living in Saudi Arabia, we used to drive all the way to Manama, Bahrain, just to visit the Blaze Pizza inside Avenue Mall. That tells you how special this place is for us!
What makes Blaze Pizza stand out is their unbeatable concept of build-your-own pizzas, paired with the freshest ingredients and fast service. The moment you step inside, you are welcomed with a cheerful, casual vibe and a variety of topping choices that let you get as creative as you want. Whether you enjoy a classic pepperoni or prefer a healthier option loaded with veggies, Blaze has something for everyone. My son especially enjoys customizing his pizza, and he loves how consistently delicious it tastes every single time.
The crust is one of the highlights—it’s thin, crispy, and baked to perfection in their signature oven. The speed at which they prepare your order without compromising on flavor is impressive. We also appreciate the availability of options like gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese, which make it inclusive for all kinds of preferences.
Beyond the food, the staff at the Sugar Land location deserve recognition. They are always friendly, attentive, and patient, especially with kids who enjoy picking their own toppings. It adds to the overall positive experience.
For us, Blaze Pizza isn’t just about having a meal—it’s about reliving memories and creating new ones. The Sugar Land location continues the tradition of excellence we experienced in Bahrain, and it will remain a go-to...
