We had organized a birthday get together for our son and this was the worse customer service you could ever get. I am not sure where to start. First of all the appetizer started coming in late and then they serve us the main course which was cold as hell. We had to request them to reheat the food after it was placed on the table. Not a singer waiter or waitress cared about serving drinks at the table. Even after requesting multiple times for water the waiter & waitress would just ignore it. We were supposed to be served with the best paranthas (that they claimed to have) after one round of few parantha's there was no more second round coming. So i go request again for it and then all of a sudden i see naan coming out instead of the so called Paranthas. They also claimed to have the best Jeera rice in town and it was served in a Thali with a spoon in it. The rice did not even last for 6 guests out of the 24 i had and when again requested for Rice the waiter came out with a regular buffet serving container and started serving on the table. There is no presentation etiquette whatsoever. This so called unorganized incomplete food was charged $20 per plate. Please do not waste your money if you are looking to get worth your money. I was also looking at the other customers that were sitting around our tables with parties of 4 to 5 people and trust me everyone around was complaining as there food was either running late or they have been forgotten. They are totally understaffed yet they want to serve more than they can afford.
Sorry to be so negative however if you claim to have the capability to handle such job and charge the agreed amount then you should be able to deliver. This will be the last time myself or any of my guests would consider going there again. What a loss?? I wont give any star...
Read moreMahesh at Madras Pavilion served us a very creative, innovative, and delicious meal. Not only have the mastered the traditional foods of Indian menu, their fusion was outstanding as well. We enjoyed a wide variety of flavors, textures, and visually appealing items. The true test was my 2.5 year old son loved the food too, and this morning was already asking about the leftovers.
Here were some of our favorites: Tom Ka Gai Soup with Idli: The fusion of Thai and South indian was incredible. We loved the taste of coconut milk with idli. It was innovative. Visually appealing and simply delicious. Gobi Manchurian: Perfectly crisp exterior with tender cauliflower Beet Cutlet with Chat: Wonderful melange of flavors and textures with the creative touch of a beet cutlet Samosa: We were impressed how they served this dish. (I won't ruin the surprise for you). Spices and flavors were beautifully mastered. Eggplant Parmesan: Crispy breading with a velvety sauce Red Thai Coconut Curry: I was brought back to my favorite Thai restaurant during my trip to Bangkok a several years ago. Very precisely flavored. Baingan Bharta: Smoky flavored. This was my husbands favorite main dish. Bullet Naan and Onion Kulcha: My two year old gobbled this up. Gulab Jamun with Gajar Halwa: Multilayered, delightfully sweetened. Mango Mousse - simple and delicious.
Thank you for creating a 5 star dining experience for our family, Mahesh. We simply loved your food and creations. We highly recommend...
Read moreSo I came here to eat dinner with my family last night. This was my first time coming back in almost a year. The service was very slow which was ironic because there was only two tables taken and the two tables seemed to be friends of the owner. My dad asked for a liquor beverage 8 times and finally the owner gave it to him. (I don’t know why the server couldn’t bring it). The owner is a very nice, generous man, but this restaurant could do so much better if there were a few changes. I had ordered an appetizer and did not receive it until our actual meal came out. We had no silverware for the entree’s. I was not given plates for the appetizer or the entree’s. Also the portion size for the chicken biryani was VERY small. They filled a small bowl up, instead of a plate (like it is supposed to be served) to the very top. I paid $14.99 for a small bowl of biryani. I never complain about money when it comes to food, but that was ridiculous. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because the owner is extremely nice and he knows that there needs to be improvement in his facility. I hope he does decide to upgrade this restaurant. I will not be coming back for probably...
