Just left this restaurant and befuddled at the service received. Walked in the pickup door to place an order to go, and after waiting in line for 10+ minutes, I was told by someone, whom I assume was the manager, that I couldn't place my order at that register and that I had to go stand in the other line that had formed while waiting. No customer service or sorry about the inconvenience. No here, order after this customer since I saw you have been standing here waiting. No let me go ahead and take your order and thank you for the wait. Just didn't care at all. I waited in the next line and then the cashier asks my order and I tell him. I have my cell phone to my ear but I am speaking directly to him and even answered his questions about my order when prompted. But I guess because I'm visibly upset does he repeat sarcastically can I have your order? I said I just gave it to you. He then smarts off about my phone. Again, no customer friendly service here. Finally while waiting for my order does a lady walk in the pick up door, just as I did 20 minutes earlier, goes to the same register I initially was at and they took her pick up order!! I was/am dumbfounded. My question is why would you have a pickup section that doesn't allow customers to place a pick up order?! Surely Pei Wei/PF Changs has enough money to hire a worker to handle the to go orders. Particularly during a busy part of the day like a weekday lunch hour where people don't have time...
Read moreCleanliness is not a priority here. I walked into today and was dumbfounded on what I saw and witnessed. First glance when you walk in is dust everywhere, counters covered in white powder, like it had never been wiped down(No stone polish) and metal had debris of old food on it(never silver shined). Then as I sat there I observed the 2 food runners. The tall one was wipping his face and then touching customers plates and serving them. Grose! Then for a solid 2 minutes he stood there at the expo window picking his neck and then decided to out up clean rammikins and soup bowls with the same dirty hands he picked his face and neck with. Upon more watching he then goes to assist in ringing up customers touching money and with a big blue band aid in his finger with no gloves this whole time and then goes back to touching plates and food. Never washing hands. How disgusting, as a former manager of Pei Wei I was completely appauld at all this going on and no one fixing anything. Made me wonder if your front house is so dirty and your employees dimmentrate poor hygiene and ethics when handling food , what is it like in the kitchen? Almost asked for refund and walked out, luckily your cashiers were doing ok other than their less than soft greeting. Probably won't go back. It's a shame to see a store fall below standards. I really enjoy the food and miss the company. But this just ruined...
Read moreI’ve tried this place 3 times before I wrote this review and each time I was disappointed with the food!!! We ordered to go last night and were very disappointed! This use to be one of our go to places when We wanted take out! I picked up the phone and placed an order for pick up and the lady on the phone got the order wrong at least 5 times!! When my husband got there the order was STILL WRONG!!! She had still left off the orange chicken with brown rice! Absolutely HORRIBLE! When our food finally arrived because of course they had to wait for the orange chicken and brown rice, the honey seared chicken was greasy and barely any breading on it! On top of it all it was not the usual portion size and were we charged for the large portion! It barely filled half of the container!!! Which is no good when u are trying to feed growing boys! Needless to say they were still hungry!! The fried rice had hardly any veggies in it and was very greasy as well! It use to be that it was perfectly fried with the perfect crisp of veggies and was delightful! Those were the days!! I’m not sure if the recipes have changed or the cooks but whatever it is I hope they change it back soon! We use to love to eat here but we won’t be spending anymore...
