I have to say, when I found out that you could get other drinks frosted , I was filled with excitement. I have been going every chance I get to get the frosted root beer because root beer float is my favorite, and having it premixed was amazing. I ordered two frosted root beers, a frosted lemonade, and a large fry for myself and the people in the car. I paid for my order, and began to pull around. When we pulled up to the window to receive the order, the lady at the window says we don’t do frosted root beers which was strange because I have been there to get them more than once. As I’m telling her I have gotten it here before she keeps saying the same thing, and it just makes me more irritated, because I have already paid. I ask if they can just give it to me this time since I already paid, and they tell me no. She states she will tell her manager. After speaking with the manager, I ask for a refund. Also, I explained that I get this same item not just at their location but at multiple locations, and he says they do it at the other locations but not this one.He did not give me a refund. Instead he gives us two root beers with ice and two small ice creams with cold fries, and then says my pleasure after basically telling us this was the equivalent. It was not a pleasant visit, and by the reviews this chick fil a certainly has an issue with having its customers leave with a pleasant experience. I still didn’t get my refund. I visited this location last monday around 12:30 p.m. I typically visit the North Dairy Ashford location, as I work for close by that one and frequently place orders for my HR staff. However, Monday I decided to visit a different location and use my Chick-fil-A Reward Points to cover our meal.
Unfortunately, my rewards did not appear or function properly during checkout. Despite showing the team members on my mobile app that the meal should have been free through my rewards, three different employees asked me to wait for a manager. After about 10 minutes, the manager came out to my car and printed a lengthy receipt showing my extensive rewards history. He informed me that my rewards were not showing on his system and stated that if I wanted the meal, I would need to pay $32.
Given the time and effort I’ve spent as a loyal customer—and the amount of business I bring through corporate orders—it was disappointing to be treated as though my loyalty didn’t matter. I ultimately asked him to cancel the order and drove to the North Dairy Ashford location instead, where I was able to use my points without any issues.
this experience was especially frustrating and inconvenient. I wanted to share this feedback because Chick-fil-A is normally known for excellent customer service, and I hope this can be addressed to prevent similar experiences for other customers. After our request was acknowledged, we drove to the next window. Once we reached the pay window we reconfirmed our request would be adhered to. "Hi, how are you?, great! Please make sure our order is being dropped, We do not mind waiting" . Low-A-Behold! We reach the pick-up window and YES, THE FOOD IS COLD! so I say "ma'am, i requested our food be prepared fresh, the fries are cold, spicy sandwich is cold, please remake this order fresh per previous request over 10 mins ago" returned the food to manager, less the drinks. We fulled forward, waited for food approximately 5 mins. Manger comes out with food, I check it and What-Do-You-Know, it still was not made fresh. so i told the manager "Ma'am, we have been here about 15mins, we made the request at the time of placing the order, ITS HOT OUTSIDE, and this is unacceptable, At this point give take the food and give me a refund." the manager returns back inside the store with the food. she returns about 3 mins later with return ticket and cash.
