Wendy's — Restaurant in Sugar Land

On December 1st at 11:52PM I had a coupon for a Dave's double meal. Of course it being a meal it comes with a drink. Now from what drink options they had, I can tell that they have a Coca-Cola freestyle machine (you can mix all sorts of drinks with different flavors i.e. strawberry Sprite, vanilla Coca-Cola, lime Pepsi ect.) Every time I'm at a place that has this machine I get lemonade that's strawberry flavored (strawberry lemonade). So at the intercom for my drink I say strawberry lemonade. When I got up to window 2 the total was a hole $1.30 more than I was expecting. I asked them why it's more than $5 (that how much the coupon was for) and she states(with a slight attitude) that it was because I got a strawberry lemonade. So I show her the coupon that shows that it's a meal which means it comes with a drink. And she say again (with a nasty attitude) that it's because "I got a strawberry lemonade." Me being confused as to why my strawberry lemonade was a $1.30 extra I instinctively say "well just give me a Sprite regular then." My total then was correct. As I was pulling off I noticed that the strawberry lemonade that they had was in a special cup. And I visually confirmed that they did have that Coca-Cola freestyle machine. So the strawberry lemonade that they charge for was not from the machine but a special strawberry lemonade that they have on the menu. I had no clue they had any special strawberry lemonade on the menu and they didn't state that the strawberry lemonade was a special from the menu and not from the Coca-Cola freestyle machine. That machine definitely has lemonade, and you can definitely flavor is with strawberry with that machine. Maybe their lemonade or strawberry was out but they definitely did not tell me that. I originally posted this review 5 days ago at the wrong location so here it is.

Whoever worked today night shift 07/10/20 just rude. When first ordering girl responded rudely “yes it’s a cheeseburger” when asked to be sure if it only just comes with cheese only on the burger, as some places will still put things such as ketchup. Guy didn’t give me my receipt, next window girl who took my order just handed me drinks and told me to pull foward, when came out to give just handed me the bag and didn’t say a word just left. I use to like to come to this location because the one closer to me isn’t up to par either, now I won’t be driving the longer distance to this one it isn’t worth it they need to hire new management and better customer service workers not long before mask where mandatory I came here once another time and they didn’t look sanitary at all just like tonight no gloves just mask. Food wasn’t really good either, I shouldn’t have to be nice just to make sure I know you won’t be messing with my food if I where have to responded the way I should and letted then know how I felt. We don’t eat fast food often but we were craving Wendy’s and we won’t be back im glad I held my hormone feelings in and just let it be I don’t need the extra stress during my pregnancy. Hire better associates!

2/21/2022 review: I see I wrote that review a year ago, I guess some things never change. I went in drive thru at 11pm and boy was not to friendly who took order, food wasn’t fresh cold, the manager dropped my food on the floor and saw I saw him and said ohh ooopss and laughed although it was in bag I couldn’t see what exactly fell out that wasn’t sanitary at all and the food was all fell out in bag. drinks didn’t taste good and most of all they don’t wear...

First let me start with how clean this restaurant is. As soon as I walked in, the manager, Nosh greeted me and asked me how I was doing and how my day was. I walked to the counter to order and Nosh asked me if I had any questions about the menu. I'm a big fan of Wendy's so I was familiar with everything. I ordered a number 1 double meat and drink. Before I could finish filling my drink, my name was called and my order was ready. While it came out quick, the burger looked like someone took their time making it. In the history of history a burger has never came out looking like the picture on the menu. It was fast, hot, and fresh. This was a refreshing visit to a fast food establishment. Wendy's should be proud to have a manager like Nosh. I watched as he spoke to each customer with a true sense of caring about their visit. Wow, what a nice lunch. Nosh and I spoke for a few minutes after I ate. What a really nice guy. To take a few minutes to chat was impressive. The restaurant is the nicest well maintained Wendy's I've ever been to and I've been to hundreds. Please recognize Nosh and his team for doing a great job. I will stop here every time I'm...
