Let me share this little email I've sent the owner. The WORST experience with a restaurant I've had in quite some time. Very very disappointed.
This evening I called in an order to your restaurant. It was received by an Eddie and it was a quick exchange in which I asked Hi Eddie, do you guys serve traditional Gyros? He responded yes. I then responded Awesome, do they come with tomato, onion, and tzaziki and he again responded yes ma'am. Again I said great, I need to order 7 please. One with no onion, no tomato, all with heavy tzaziki. He said okay, what's the name for the order. I gave him my husband's, Travis Bunch and he said it would be ready in about 15 minutes. The call concluded. My husband brought them home and to my surprise there were none with tzaziki, please refer to pictures, all had tomatoes AND onion.
No big deal, I called back and asked for a manager and was given to Kyle who said he was a shift manager. He asked me to give him a moment to speak to his employee. When he came back he claimed to be looking at the order written down on a sheet of paper with none of the information that I had asked for the order and that I had ordered something called a traditional pita, not a gyro and also that they indeed had tzaziki and that he knew this because he himself had assisted in making them. Whether or not this was the case is not my concern, my order was completely not as I asked for it. I was not offered anything AT ALL but an apology that it was not as I THOUGHT I had requested and that I had been mistaken as to what I had asked for and that in the future I needed to clarify otherwise it was up to whomever is making the orders discretion as to how they make it. My order was over 80 dollars and this response to my calm complaint was completely disrespectful and placed all blame on myself that I was not clear enough. I am very dissatisfied and will not be returning if this is the type of treatment that is acceptable to give customers who communicate that they simply did not get what they had asked when they ordered.
I hope that you will find a way to rectify this and that future customers will be...

I asked at the counter if the Maine Brand root beer contained caffeine, the staff all seemed baffled, and looked to one woman, who came up and said “all root beer is caffeine free” which isn’t true. Barq’s and other root beers contain caffeine. I went online and the brand of root beer there doesn’t contain caffeine.
However, When a customer asks you this kind of question you can’t guess. It’s just like allergens. There are people out there who have heart valve replacements, cardiac events, who are caffeine sensitive, are on other medication’s or have chronic conditions where they can’t consume caffeine. When that kind of question is asked, you need to take it seriously. If you don’t know the answer, look it up or tell the customer that you don’t know the answer.
The business response to my review (below) is a complete lie. There were two of us, not three. No one ever checked on us while we ate our meal or came around to see how people were doing, And the person at the counter did not offer to find out. They incorrectly told me that all root beers are caffeine free. Way to respond to a legitimate complaint with total BS Instead of using this as an opportunity to train your employees and improve your food and service. Not a great...
Read moreWe began going to Kairos shortly after they opened. The food was a wonderful addition to what was available in Summerville. And the guy that explained the dishes was awesome. Last couple of times we were there, he wasn't there. But we thought maybe he was on vacation. Portions were good considering the expense. WERE. Now we fast forward to today. Stopped to get our usual...pitas made in bowls. The young lady looked at me like I was a total inconvenience. She told me in advance that the bowl would be the same portion as the regular pita... Ok, they have been in the past as well. She DID NOT have any understanding of portions. NOR did she know the menu. Both pitas were made devoid of several of their ingredients. By the time she placed the lids, not even a third of the bowl was filled. And yet she was going to charge me $11.29 for an amount of food that could not have satisfied a 3-year-old. And as much as we enjoyed the food in the past, the service and attitude tonight is a complete deal breaker. Too bad...
