I never write bad reviews, but this one really needs to be said because I actually love Joe & The Juice, and I want them to change for the better.
I used to always park in the McDonald’s lot when visiting and never had an issue until one day my car was towed. It ended up costing me over $200 to get it back, and as a young woman, I had to Uber to a sketchy neighborhood just to retrieve my car. It was a huge inconvenience and honestly really stressful.
What makes this even worse is that Joe & The Juice’s own parking situation is not practical. They have one of those lift-style parking systems, and when I tried to use it, my car door hit the metal because it sits too low. Unless you’re driving an SUV or Escalade, it doesn’t really work. It even dented the bottom of my car, which I wasn’t expecting at all.
At one point, I had no choice but to block the lot just to avoid being towed again while I ran inside to grab my drink. When I asked the staff for guidance on where to park, the woman told me I should just park in a handicap spot. That’s not only inconsiderate but also illegal, and it shocked me that they would even suggest that. I would never take a space from someone who actually needs it, and the fine for that is over $250.
To make matters worse, I wasn’t the only one. Another girl got towed at the same time as me, and she was literally just picking up a sandwich. I felt so bad for her because she wasn’t even from here, she was visiting from Chile, and she had no idea how any of this worked, which made her situation even more stressful.
Clearly this is an ongoing issue. Joe & The Juice really needs to address their parking situation because it’s unfair and unsafe for their customers. And honestly, it feels like McDonald’s is running a business out of this, hiring someone to watch cars and tow people just for going to Joe & The Juice. They’re making money off their customers, and...
Read moreI'm giving this location a 3 star for its potential. It's in a great location but it lacks serious business, everytime I go in there it's a place for an occupancy of 50 people or more but it has maybe 1 or 2 people sitting inside. The windows are so dark it looks closed all day every day, I walked by this place more than 100 times since moving to sunny isles before I realized it was actually in operation. There's no outdoor seating and if there is supposed to be the workers aren't supplying it, and based off of what I've read from previous reviews, entitlement and lack of work ethic/ability to connect with customers on a human level is absent and I wouldn't be surprised if this were the case. My past 2 experiences with this place have so far been mediocre at best, not really a welcoming but an awkward stare upon entry which can be infuriating depending on the day nevertheless I got what I needed and got out, didn't really care about the welcoming. This places logo has a lonely vibe but the interior completley contradicts it whilst the exterior purports this setting and the exterior is damaging what could be a very busy place I presume. Lastly and sadly I have seen homeless people sleep in front of this business on multiple occasions and this reinforces the need for consideration of serious work on its exterior. Get outdoor seating, get rid of the completley tinted windows that make this place look out of business and it will be way more inviting. This place has a...
Read moreI visited Joe & The Juice on Sunday at approximately 1:30 PM and was absolutely appalled by my experience. All three workers were incredibly rude and unprofessional, dressed as if they were in their pajamas. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable for any establishment. One worker rudely asked if I was ready to order from across the counter, using inappropriate slang. When she finally approached, she just stared at us, waiting for us to speak—no greeting, no “hello,” nothing.
After placing our order, we waited a ridiculous 20 minutes before she looked at us and said, “Oh, you still haven’t got your order,” despite knowing full well that we hadn’t received it. She was supposed to be the one making it! When we finally got our order, it was a complete disaster. The iced vanilla matcha latte tasted disgusting, clearly made with zero effort or care.
Save your time and money. If you really want Joe & The Juice, go to the one in Aventura. The customer service there is infinitely better, which greatly enhances the overall experience, and the drinks are far superior. This location urgently needs to hire better workers who not only know how to make drinks but also come to work dressed appropriately and treat customers...
