Do NOT stay here. I rarely write bad reviews especially of hotels. However, I have had a terrible experience here as an avid traveler. I left my beach bag at the pool at 530 to walk the beach And swim after like I've done each night. 45 min later it was gone with my keys to my room, shoes, cover up, electronics .. i went to the front desk in my bikini and asked Alexandria if she knew where my bag was located. I was very concerned it was stolen. Her immediate response was you can't hold a chair. I said I wasn't holding a chair at 530- there was no one at the pool! I figured it would be safer than at the beach at that time. I said please call security hopefully they have it . She looked at me Said you need to dress more appropriately to approach the front desk. Huh??? I was wearing a modest bikini but my cover up shoes and keys were IN THE MISSING bag. I can't even get to my room. She was SO RUDE to me. The look on her face was astounding. I was treated very poorly and discriminated against. Im a professional incredibly educated middle aged Mom. I said again, I'm worried about my bag and it's contents. Security finally arrived and confirmed she had the bag with the keys. She was lovely: I asked for the manager - genesis- who was beyond RUDE to me. I extended my hand , introduced myself and had to ask her name. Treated me like I was inferior to her. I explained that my bag had been missing with my key, and what had just occurred with Alexandria. She reiterated what the front desk said. I looked at her and said AGAIN the ROOM KEY WAS IN the MISSING BAG. How did you want me to put clothes on?? There was simply a lack of critical thinking, respect for me or concern for my bag that had gone missing. Even following a 10 minute conversation she couldn't seem to comprehend that my bag HAD my room keys. There is no " confusion ". I stated quite directly to both her and front desk that my keys were IN THE BAG. Is this a difficult concept??? Therefore I wasn't able to put any type of coverup on in this BEACH resort. It isn't WALL street. I have NEVER experienced such reverse discrimination from anyone . I told the manager Genesis, I would be writing a review online and her response was so? She is condescending, patronizing and should be FIRED. She's in the wrong business. I then asked for some type of compensation for how rudely I was treated. I had to ASK. She unwillingly gave me a card for breakfast. Leah the security officer was so kind. She is the only one that apologized for the situation. Genesis couldn't be bothered with me and it showed through her facial expressions and her dismissive tone . . I'm an avid traveler and no hotel is without nuances. But this was beyond anything. Do NOT come here. The prior reviews on trip advisor warning of front desk /management staff Alexandria and Genesis issues are correct. Don't let the response of the manager sway you . They have changed nothing. Update- I checked out . The bill contained hidden charges, left off resort credit. Again, Genesis was extremely rude to me. I commented that I don't care to be overcharged, that I work hard for my Money. Her comment back was laced with nastiness and said " we all work hard". If this isn't the antitheses of customer service , I don't know what is. This hotel is losing customers because of her. People were complaining In the elevator of the front desk staff. The beach staff, however is wonderful. I've relayed my experience to my Facebook travel grp and colleagues of over 120k people. I don't want anyone else to be...

Upon arrival , our room wasn’t ready, which was fine, and were told we would be called when the room was ready. We had a lovely lunch at Neomi’s and our waitress, Gabby, was great. After several hours we returned to the front desk to inquire about our room and were given a key immediately (no call ever received). Service during breakfast in Neomi’s on Friday morning was okay, the young gentleman spoke little English or hadn’t been trained properly but Patrice, our waitress on Saturday morning was on the ball, attentive and a delight (you need to clone Patrice).
For dinner on Thursday, February 28th, we stayed local and walked to a restaurant across Collins Avenue, but the music was loud and wine list limited so we returned to the hotel and had dinner at Fusion – in fact we ate at Fusion two nights and both times the service was less than acceptable (food was great, service unacceptable). We waited a long time for service (both nights we sat in the bar area) and the 2nd night we sat at a dirty table for a good 10 minutes! We walked to the bar and was told someone would be with us immediately then waived someone down for service – we were ignored.
The first night we spend $150 at Fusion for dinner and wine and $105 the next night and the service was less than acceptable and on top of that charged an 18% gratuity! We don’t mind tipping someone over and above 18% for exceptional service but what about less than acceptable service – guess the staff knew they would get a gratuity no matter what type service we were given. We also had an issue with the TV in our room (1211), notified the front desk and it worked for about 5 minutes then off it went again.
My boyfriend owns his own business and knows the importance of giving great customer service – he wouldn’t be in business without it and we are not demanding people, but felt the service received at the Trump International was less than satisfactory.
This is our feedback on our stay and we work very hard and look forward to these little getaways. Hopefully with more training, your staff will be up to par with the standards I am sure you expect from your...
Read moreAna and Andrea are amazing masseuses! Their hospitality and attention to detail during the massage service was exceptional. Both had great attitudes. The Spa was actually beautiful and modern. However, the ladies at the front who checked us into the massage were not too friendly. When I "checked-in", she was quick to reiterate that I was late and I knew that I was but it was out of my control, since the restaurant downstairs took long. I told her that I was okay with that and that I accepted that I would lose time for my massage. She also stated that they couldn't give me "more time" because they were packed with back-to-back sessions. However, I only saw one lady in the waiting area after our massage and they took some time to get us into the massage room (from the waiting room). The second lady at the front desk kept telling us that they were "about to close" when we were enjoying the locker area, steam room and sauna. It was still early when she was saying that. She also scolded my friend about asking for another robe when my friend claimed that she discarded hers in the hamper due to leave the locker room to go eat and then come back to hang out with my mom and I in the steam room and sauna after lunch. A massage/day pass is an investment and definitely not cheap (especially after all their additional fees). There is a $35 fee to share the massage room with someone else and also an upcharge to go from a Swedish massage to a deep-tissue massage. Gratuity and service charges are automatically added to your statement. The front-desk women did not like the fact that they had to break these fees down. I could just tell, but a consumer is in their right to verify what they are paying for. I really loved the restaurant for both lunch and dinner. It had an array of Greek food like Greek nachos and gyro. The burger and fries were great as well! The pool area is nice as there are two large pools (swimming and family pool). There are also 2 hot tubs. I liked the area but I did observe some deterioration like mold in the pool trims and flooring, as well as cracked areas. Overall, I would return but I think it needs some upkeep and better...
