Posting it based on my parents review

Delightful Experience at Bay Area Hot Bread, Sunnyvale

We are Hanumant Rao, 90 years old, and my wife 85 year old recently had the pleasure of visited Bay Area Hot Bread in Sunnyvale. We sampled a variety of their offerings, including sandwiches, pav, veg cake, and veg puff. Each item was impeccably delicious, showcasing the bakery’s commitment to quality and taste.

The sandwich was perfectly crafted, offering a harmonious blend of flavors, while the pav was soft, fresh, and reminiscent of traditional homemade quality. The veg cake was a delightful surprise, moist and flavorful, making it a perfect treat for any time of the day. Lastly, the veg puff was crisp, flaky, and filled with a savory mix that was simply irresistible.

The highly recommend Bay Area Hot Bread to anyone looking for a delightful bakery experience. Their wide range of items and consistently delicious offerings make it a must-visit spot in Sunnyvale.

a strong recommendation for the bakery to the Indian youth people to visit and take the Indian deliously ...

It's a decent place to get Indian style nostalgic aloo puff, veggie puff as well as Mumbai and veggie sandwiches. They taste good. Great options if someone wants to buy eggless cakes. Plenty parking in the complex. . I took off stars because of lack of visible cleaniness and hygiene. Employees touch food with bare hands. Yesterday I saw a customer requesting extra edible flowers on the cake he had ordered, the employees got 2 flowers from inside to put on the cake, all with bare hands. They need to wear gloves or at least follow the best practices. Also, a few months back, while buying the patties, the employee (he was a Bengali) on the counter started hitting on me. I was just talking politely and in return he started asking for my Instagram. I said I am not on it (of course I am), then he asked for my Snapchat, I again made the same excuse. Then he asked for my number. I declined. Fact that he refused to back down made me really uncomfortable. Gosh I was there to buy food. They need to keep their employees in check and demonstrate sone...

Bay Area Hot Breads has disappointed me beyond words. I ordered a customized cake, clearly stating the color I wanted. To my dismay, they failed to adhere to the simple instruction and delivered a wrong cake. This isn't just an oversight; it's downright disrespectful.

Their customer service? Absolutely atrocious. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they were downright rude and unapologetic. It's clear that they don't care about customer satisfaction, which is, quite frankly, appalling.

And the cake itself? Terrible. It tasted bad, further ruining our celebration. A bakery that can't even make a decent tasting cake isn't worth your time or money.

My experience with Bay Area Hot Breads was nothing short of a disaster. Poor attention to detail, horrible customer service, and awful tasting products are what they offer. I absolutely do not recommend them to anyone.

I'm giving Bay Area Hot Breads a one-star rating, only because zero stars isn't an option. Trust me, they deserve...

As I was leaving the restaurant next door I noticed the sign for Bay Area Hot Breads. I said to myself “self” you just ate a really good tiramisu but hay let’s give this place a little love also. As I walked in I noticed the selection was minimal “at best” but they did have some desserts that caught my eye. So I waited for the persons behind the counter, and waited...... and waited..,.. and waited..... and waited some more. “Are you getting tired of me saying that?..... exactly”. I decided to move to the right side of the counter thinking maybe I need to order over there... NOPE, the guy didn’t even acknowledge me. I said well I guess you don’t need my business “place was completely devoid of patrons” still nothing.. ok well then later!!! How this place even in business is beyond me. 0 stars. I will never come back.

I recently visited Bay Area Hot Breads at 464 E El Camino Real, Sunnyvale, CA, with friends and had a fantastic experience. We enjoyed the Mumbai sandwich and veg paneer sandwich, both packed with authentic flavors. For a special event, we ordered a 10-pound custom mango cake, which was fresh, beautifully decorated, and delicious. We also got 50 puffs for a party and eggless cookies, all of which were fresh and tasty. The location is easy to find, and the place is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing our visit with their excellent service. Bay Area Hot Breads is a must-visit for Indian cuisine lovers and those who appreciate high-quality baked goods. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely return for more delightful treats.
