I decided to rent out a PO box at this location, and for the first month, no mails arrived at the box, despite having others sent it to the correct PO Box address. I looked into the box and I found that my box was taped off from the other side with someone else's name. I assume that was the marking for the previous renter who had forwarding enabled.
So, my friends hand-painted arts, and other hand-written letters has gone missing, due to the error from the USPS side.
When I asked the person at the desk, I was constantly spoken over with the message of "I've been here for 10+ years, and I look after every single main that comes to PO Box. Don't worry, it will be fine". She constantly explained how it works, and that no mistake will be made - to the person who's had mails missing.
Being tired of getting talked over for 15 minutes, I decided to say "I"ll take your word" and left.
It's just terrible. It's not a bad customer service at that level. It's just bad treatment of the person. I'll see what happens over the duration of the next 10 months I have my contract with.
But it really needs to be addressed. Seems like there are some people with weird mindset at this place.
I’ve lived in 5 different states in different cities and I frequented at USPS in all of those places for the past 13 years.
Mistakes happen - each time something went wrong, USPS employee apologized, explained what may have happened, and laid out what my options are. Although I may be missing a package or a mail, I leave that interaction pleasantly.
It was different here in a very unpleasant way.
One is that they failed to provide the service that I paid for until I found the issue myself. Two is that they didn't seem to care that they had my mails missing. While they are not expensive, they mean whole lot more than the paper and...
Read moreAvoid this USPS store if you can. I came in to return a package with a QR code ready to scan. The package was small and just needed to be sealed. The staff member kept me waiting for about 10 minutes while she attended to other tasks, and then insisted that I buy a $3.99 roll of tape to seal the box — even though I asked if they had tape I could use briefly. She confirmed they had tape, but refused to let me use it unless I bought it.
It was extremely frustrating, especially for a $20 return. I wasn't asking for much — just a quick seal before shipping. I left and went to a different USPS nearby, and the staff there was helpful and efficient — they sealed the package without any hassle and got it shipped right away.
Go elsewhere if you want basic customer service and...
Read moreFrustrating experience. When I was told to stop by the post office to verify my identity for my Change of Address request, the clerk misspelled my name and submitted the form. They told me everything was good, but I received the confirmation and my name was incorrect. When I went back and told them the situation, I spoke with Jasvir and they became irritated with me and told me they can’t fix it and to go to another post office. I’ve never had issues with their office before, but the service came off extremely rude when I asked for help on how to...
