Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Sunrise

Last night I was given horrible service. Came in and the place was a mess with broken glass on the floor. I sat myself down because the girl told me to sit anywhere. A waiter came then disappeared. Then an employee with bright red hair was throwing chairs on top of the tables in an abruptly rude way and slamming things. The manager came over and i told him that i was leaving because the environment seemed off. He further persisted that the employee was just mad because he dropped a whole tray of food and was not in a good mood which is unprofessional. The soda was switched out because it tasted bad twice. When the food finally came the whole order was incorrect especially since i told the guy i do not eat meat and i waited for someone to assist me until i just left. It wouldnt have been a bad idea to write down our orders first. When leaving the angry employee told my girlfriend that tried to wait longer for someone to come "that's why i didn't want to serve them" i feel like it was only God that told me to get up because that was very disrespectful. On top of that the employee with the red hair and bad attitude was smoking a vapor in the restaurant like we were in the middle of downtown or at an outdoor event. I will never ever come back to this location. Hopefully the owner gets a chance to talk to the manager and employees. I have taken an employment law class including other law courses and this is certainly not the way that a work environment/business should function. Especially if i was to walk on the glass. now have a new budget dinner place ! got two 3 for $10 meals with a drink appetizer n entree.. each included large size healthy portions of everything ! was surprised how much came.. pro tip: the mango tea is sweetly delectable ! the tortilla chips were more than a normal sized bag received at a grocery store but r restaurant thin and crunchy crispy ! we got the mango habenero crispers which r spicy sweet sauced tenders.. plenty of them.. i dont care for heat but they were tasty.. loves me some onion rings so got the awesome blossom petals fried close to perfectly if a tad dark.. seemed like it was a full medium sized onion as opposed to just a few sticks or rings.. then we got margarita grilled chicken with sides of loaded mashed potatoes.. when i say the portions were generous im saying i asked for extra bacon and scallions and although not extreme there was enough mash included to say the extra fixins had plenty to share bites with.. i really should have taken pictures but didnt expect to leave this review.. next time which will be soon i will ! also have to commend the waiter who was attentive and friendly providing the curbside service.. in an age where ive been disappointed by dwindling portions from the likes of ruby tuesday which used to be a fav.. my hats are off to chilis for reminding me of where the healthy...

Our server was amazing, the greeter wasnt sure they knew what the were doing. For example, me amd my family were greeted almost immediately, so we were asked to wait 5 or so minutes, witch was no problem.. mind u we were the persons waiting at that time.. waiting maybe waiying 15 mins now, now another family group arrived, greeter came back, greeted them, then reapproched us after about 15 minutes later for our name and number so be can put it on his computer/tablet that we were waiting which did not make much sense to us.. it wasnt to busy from what we can visually see.. inspite of all that, our server was great..after we finally arived to the table, which was clean, and social distance was being performed with like shield cards on the back portion of the booth we were in. Again our server she was amazing and very helpful, she took our order, my wife is Allergic to pickles, so we ask for no pickles, which she did note. Our food came out there was a bunch of pickles sitting in it. Which was not her fault, so money wasn't paying attention to her order that she submitted for us. We were missing 2 items, and we had to wait maybe another 10 minutes to come out. If it wasn't for our server honestly we probably would have rated one star.
