Amazing!!! We came in from Tulsa and had to go two days in a row. Jonathan was super kind and full of enthusiasm. He even labeled the outside of the bags so we'd know which kolach was which was super helpful. He is the type of person who makes people come back. The food was also reaaaaally good. The sausage and gravy kolaches were amazing! All the breakfast ones were good. Jalapeño popper had a perfect ratio of spice and cream cheese. The chicken bacon ranch was superb. The only downside I found with the food was the desserts, it was alot of breading to filling ratio. I would maybe have the divot be deeper so there was just a bit more filling. The cinnamon was divine though so there are still options if you have a sweet tooth with you. There isn't any sitting just as a heads up.

STL Kolache is my ultimate kolache crush in the heart of St. Louis! Their sausage and gravy kolache is like a warm hug for my taste buds – savory, satisfying, and downright addictive. Each bite is a flavor explosion that leaves me questioning why I ever bothered with cereal for breakfast. If you haven't tried it yet, you're seriously missing out on life's greatest joyrides. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you, and your morning routine will never be the same again!

Tasty kolaches. I got a Pappy’s brisket and a sloppy joe. They were just under $4 each. The selection was bad when I went (11:45 AM on a Tuesday) but the employee said they usually have more available. This is one of their newer locations (opened in November 2022) so maybe they’re still figuring out how many to bake each day. This is a small take-out only location. They also serve Park Avenue Coffee but I didn’t get any so I can’t comment on that.

Edit 2024 Their baking schedule must have improved because they are hardly ever out of kolaches now. Thankful because I love their kolaches!

It’s hard to write this review. The kolaches are always amazing. The sweet flavor and texture of the dough combined with your favorite filling makes them irresistible.

They, however, need to figure out their baking schedule. It’s obvious that bacon, egg, and cheese and sausage, egg, and cheese are two of the most popular breakfast options. How do I know that? Because they are ALWAYS OUT OF THEM. It doesn’t matter if I come in at 7 am or 9 am. There’s never any left on the shelf. I’m not sure why they aren’t just baking them continuously. Sure, they are probably making another batch in the back (which means 10-15 min of waiting), but come on, just figure it out. It’s like this every time.

Maybe they should only allow large orders to be made online the day before pick up so they can better estimate how many to make to fulfill those and the many walk in orders they get? I don’t know what the answer is but they need to figure it out. It’s just annoying.

I wish they would take a page out of the Creve Coeur’s location and get on the same baking schedule because that location has got it down pat and is never truly out of items until later in the morning when they are done baking for the day.

I won’t stop going because their kolaches are that good. I’m just annoyed because I’m probably going to be waiting an extra 10-15 min...

This place is AWESOME. The kid working behind the counter was welcoming and he patiently answered a ton of our questions. We decided to get several different kolaches to try - spinach artichoke, sloppy Joe, Mac n cheese, ham n cheese and pappys pulled pork. They were all good but the pappys pulled pork was the star of the show. Sooooo good. Don’t be fooled by their small size, these are super filling and after eating two I was stuffed. One day soon I’ll come back to try their...
