Starbucks is not the issue, it’s the barista. This is my second time dealing with the same barista (middle aged Asian lady) and she is just incompetent and oblivious to her surroundings.
My first experience was standing around for about 15 minutes waiting for a mobile order while being literally the only person by the pick up area. After a walk in customer ordered and received their drink I asked about my mobile order and she said she had no orders come through. Turns out her printer was out of paper. I understand that happens but I’m literally hovering around. Does it seem normal to just linger around a Starbucks pick up area in the morning for no reason? By the time she made my drink almost 30 minutes went by and it was made incorrectly on top of that.
Today marks my second experience w the same barista. I was excited that it’s finally pumpkin spice season. Official Starbucks release is 8/24, today is 8/25. I was about to make a mobile order but didn’t want the same thing to happen from last time so I went inside to order in person. Again only person in the entire Starbucks area waiting at the register for about 3 minutes before the barista even acknowledged someone standing there. I was in her field of vision while she was doing inventory but whatever I just want my pumpkin spice. Turns out the barista doesn’t even know what a pumpkin spice late is. So I asked when they will be doing them and she had this blank look on her face as if she’s never heard of this signature drink of theirs. I double checked the app just to make sure it’s available to order at this location and it is.
Someone from corporate needs to either replace this barista or give her...
Read moreMy experience here was awful. I wanted a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew with a blonde shot, the worker said what is that? Then said, brown sugar? I said, no, a blonde shot... espresso? I asked for a hot Pikes Place, she told me there was no Pikes Place and then offered me...Pikes Place instead? When I was rung up, the screen said "Decaf" as my order description, so I asked the worker why it said that, nothing that I was ordering was decaf? She said no problem and not to worry about it? I watched her pull out a jug of premade coffee with a red lid and dump a bottle of what appeared to be cold foam and not sweet cream. She handed me the coffee with the foam spilled down the sides and no napkins. My Dad who had the Pikes Place said it tasted old and my drink didn't taste a bit sweet, as she put the vanilla pumps in for a smaller size. I was rushed and frustrated by this point, so I asked her for my coffee to be sweeter and she told me she already put the sweetener in. She did comply and put in more and added my sticker to my cup which said "vanilla cold brew blonde espresso decaf". I feel like she had zero clue to what she was doing and I will never go back there for coffee again. I have been a Starbucks customer for many years at other stores and decided I wanted to treat myself today, I should have saved my money and had a...
Read moreJesus, Mary, and Joseh.......these ladies are as slow as molasses. Not only did I wait 5 min for a drink....with no one in front of me, it was then wrong. I told them it was wrong and they just stare at each other and don’t say anything. They did make another one, luckily it only took about four minutes for that one. I always know that going inside versus drive-through is going to be a pain but you would think they would make these a little more efficient than they are and it seems the ones inside of grocery stores are always much slower than a normal Starbucks. It’s almost like they have a Kroger employee running the Starbucks instead of a trained barista. I will definitely try to avoid this one at all costs, unless I’m already in Kroger and have no time restraints. The staff was friendly but very...
