Johnny Rockets — Restaurant in Sweetwater

My wife and I were going to order some food as we waited on our movie to start. We walked in at approximately 9pm. We sat at the countertop area, right in the front of the restaurant. Not one employee, including the manager Batti acknowledged us after sitting for atleast 5 to 7 mins and there were atleast 3 people who were constantly passing by. But then a spanish couple walked in and sat at the countertop. Within 2 minutes of them sitting down, they were acknowledged and handed menus to view. I immediately said to the very rude waitress that we were here for almost 10 mins without anyone saying one word to us or handing us a menu. She proceeded to tell me she didn't see us. REALLY?? Afterwards , I went to speak to the manager Batti, who was even reluctant to tell me his title, about our horrible/ discriminatory experience and we proceeded to leave. After living in Miami over 40 years, this is one of the first times I've blatantly experienced discrimination and it honestly left me with tears in my eyes. I will NEVER step foot in another Johnny Rockets ever again in life! This is not the 1800/1900 when discrimination was accepted. I am a paying customer just like everyone else. We were greeted and given a menu as soon as we walked in. Love the atmosphere. Our order was taken quickly and then we waited. I received my milkshake, and it was very good. We ordered cheesy bacon tots as an appetizer for the table - one person ordered chicken strips, one ordered a burger, and a chili dog. The chicken, burger, and chili dog finally came out to the table after a very long wait - we had to remind the waitress that we had ordered the tots as an appetizer to share. We went ahead and started to eat our food as we wated for our tots. The burger was flavorful, but between the LTOP and bun, you couldn't even find the tiny thing-much less hardly taste it. The chicken strips were cold and tasted like the frozen banquet syrips you buy in the bag at the grocery store. My husband liked the chili dog once he finally got to eat it-we had to wait about another 10 minutes after it was brought to the table before he could eat it so it was cold and the bun was soggy because we were never given any utensils to use. When we finally got the cheesy bacon tots that we ordered, they were french fries.... I did not have a good experience here,...

My son recently went to dine there with his friends . He ordered a Strawberry kids shake that he’s gotten there before . The server didn’t really speak English so she understood “ Strawberry kiss “ . She never checked in on the table till the end when he had to flag her down . He said the cameras can be checked to verify . He drank half of his shake which would have been the portion , since she didn’t come around to ask how the food was he couldn’t tell her . Once he told her that he would pay for the kids , they called security on him and his friends when they were all paying customers . The manager instead of going to the table told the server that the manager called the cops and security and said they were trespassing. It doesn’t seem like the staff has been properly trained because any rational Hospitality professional would know better .They all have their receipts so what they did was basically harassment. I personally will never set foot in this establishment nor recommend it to anyone I know because of how poorly they handled the situation . I expect more from a chain restaurant. They need to...
